This is a well maintained campground for exploring the east mountain area near Albuquerque and 15 min to the city. Tent sites looked flat and primitive cabin had nice amenities of electric and fridge and heater. You can walk next door to ride horses into...More

Very poor, the road in is a pot hole disaster, no wood, no charcoal, no paper towels in the bathrooms. The shower system is a joke. Sites were uneven and extremely muddy. Almost got stuck trying today's leave. I would avoid this park unless necessary.

We were only able to stay 1 night but would have loved to stay for longer. Reasonably priced (we stayed in a tent site). Great views! They have a self check in system that's self explanatory but the owner actually pulled up while we were...More

Stayed at a tent site at this campground. You have to find your own spot and not all spots have a tent pad. Some of the sites were difficult to determine if that was one large site or several sites. The campground was very quiet...More

This park is run down and the washrooms more than dreadful. The garbage bins were overflowing for days. Wifi is sporadic. Sites are okay but spaces in some areas not well laid out. Some very old messy permanent rigs. Shower system is ludicrous. You get...More

Has anybody been in contact with the current (Fall 2015) owner? I have a few questions about a reservation I made for an upcoming stay at this campground. I don't want to speak to the woman who is "managing" the office--I'd prefer to speak directly to the owner!

Hi, we will be staying here in a couple of weeks. We are really hoping to like this campground. We like primitive campgrounds without a lot of amenities. We are most concerned with clean showers, realitively quiet and great views. Can someone give us some tips.
