This hotel was perfectly located near Eagle Nest Lake. The room was clean, bed comfortable and a great waffles/coffee. The service was great. The place is safe and there are many local restaurants. The room was warm and the satellite television worked well. Can't ask for anything more.

The room was what I needed and where I needed it to be. No frills, with clean room, decent beds, quiet location, coffee and light breakfast. Proprietor was courteous and helpful. Great location for all northern New Mexico activities. Probably not best for romantic couples getaway but it makes no claim to this.

After having our reservations oversold by another hotel in another town, we found the one room available in both towns at this hotel. The owners were very nice people and the hotel was clean though everything was pretty dated and without air conditioning (in July). Owners were kind enough to waive the two night minimum on our room after being...

Our room was ready, comfortable and clean upon arrival. The staff was extra nice in meeting several special request, they went to extremes to see that our every need was met. The bountiful breakfast was outstanding! My favorite was the homemade biscuits and gravy and a hot waffle each morning. Our stay in a word: Superb!

The Econo Lodge in Eagle Nest was clean with great views. The people were friendly and welcoming and made you feel like family. The large room for meetings had a kitchen, TV and more. Great for reunions or friends sharing a vacation. The staff was accommodating and made our trip very special. Breakfast was an added bonus...biscuits light and fluffy...

Our plans were to camp in the lake due to the cold weather our plans had to be change, luckily for us this hotel was open. The outer part of the building looks like a cabin, the views from the second floors are amazing, clean rooms, we weren't expecting free breakfast for the cheap price but it was pretty awesome,...

Clean with amazing views! The hotel staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I came here with my family, and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has a large kitchen which is available to guests, and makes staying here feel more like staying at home. I can't say enough good things about this place, if you...

On our way to Monument Valley, we stopped at Eagle Nest for the night. This motel got good reviews so we stopped. It does not look like the Econo Lodges we have stayed at in our travels over the US. It is more rustic looking, with lots of outdoor walkways and decks. Lots of parking. Family owned. The inn keeper...

Stayed here 2 nights in mid-October. Found it by accident at 9pm, looking for somewhere to stay with wifi near Taos on a sight-seeing trip. Absolutely beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel in a quiet little mountain town right near the ski resorts. Rooms on one side overlook the lake (short walk to fishing!), expansive views to watch the storms roll...
