People are great, room was comfy but looked for a plug and saw something odd...obviously the housekeeping doesn't look under things cause I found an empty bottle of alcohol under my chair...yuck. Would stay again...opened my window for some air and I smell nothing but cigarette billowing up to my room...ugh..keep windows closed, look under furniture and hope to sleep...

This is a good place to stay even for a night if you are passing through-as we were. Because it's connected with a casino, don't expect a free breakfast. The staff were not uniformly friendly nor seemed interested in going out of their way to help. Small issue, but the big heavy front door has no auto-open or h'cap button....

The Santa Claran offers a great location for Espanola and the surrounding area. We came to tour Georgia O'Keeffe's home in Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch located about 45 minutes north of the hotel.Additionally, there are a couple of outstanding restaurants located nearby - El Paragua (about 1/4 mile north of the hotel) and Rancho de Chimayo (8 miles east of...

Great hot tub, great food, and fun casino. Their prime rib is exceptional with or without the lobster. All you can eat crab nights are one of our favorite. Bowling is fun and it is a very children friendly place. The pool and hot tub are great.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and have to say, it is a very nice hotel with great amenities. Fun casino with great selection of games. Problem I seem to have is being able to upgrade, request certain type of room, etc. Hotel staff is not very helpful and don't seem to be willing to even try to...

My wife and I have stayed in their hotel about once a month for several years. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Love their hot tub and exercise room. We prefer weekdays because we are retired and there are less people during the week. Excellent hotel and clean casino. The only thing I wonder is why every room we have...

This is our third time staying at the Santa Claran and it is still a really great hotel. The price is good, the rooms are really large, very comfortable, clean, and quiet. There's a small fridge in our room which comes in very handy. The decor is really nice and tasty southwestern style. I'd definitely come back here!

The Santa Claran is clean, comfortable, up to date, gemütlich (as the Germans say) and the price is competitive with Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express. We were willing to take a chance on a non-chain hotel because of the warmth we had experienced at the Puye Ruins in the Santa Clara Pueblo on a previous trip. And we were...

Hotel and the Casino were great! Nice and clean environment. Good food in restaurant. However, TV reception in rooms is spotty. Goes in and out every 10 to 15 minutes. Otherwise it would have been 5 star
