This is really the best place to stay in the entire region! Although is far from town, the distance is easily justified by the outstanding view and the peaceful place, giving you a completely different experience and a close encounter with nature. The prices are quite good, specially if you consider that they provide dinner (and a very tasty one). For sure we are coming back for another weekend. Congratulations!

Swallows acrobatically hurtle close around the chalet as you take in the spectacular view towards Minas across the distant hilly landscape. 4x4 transfer from the parking area generally works OK, albeit with a short wait sometimes. The hosts are delightful and there is a sense they want to make you as happy & comfortable as possible. The cabins are well laid out and even if it wasn't really cold enough, you've got to use the fireplace at night to complete the romance of this moutaintop retreat. The included evening meal (useful given its location) is simple & tasty, but option free. Best to have a good lunch out after a daytime hike.

The place was amazing and the chalets are comfortable and pretty. Yet, the quality of the construction is not good and there are ants, spiders and other insects inside. Apart from that, the food they gave us for dinner was really bad, a frozen pizza base with cheap cheese and carrott soup.
