The safari experience was really fantastic and the safari staff were excellent (special mention to Given and FW). We saw all the animals and many of them come very close to the lodges - especially the elephants. The lodge is great and fits in with the setting nicely. The only real disappointment was with the dining, mainly on the basis...

I cannot speak highly enough about Earth Lodge. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The service from housekeeping right through to all levels was exemplary. We arrived after a very stressful and delayed trip and the minute we arrived, Luke was outside to greet us with a very warm welcome. He escorted us to reception...

I cannot rate this lodge highly enough. Our short stay with them was amazing from beginning to end. I have worked myself in the hotel industry and could not fault the hospitality and attention to detail. From little notes and turndown gifts left in our room, to consistent staff presence who knew what you liked and tailored your experience. On...

When you drive up to the property its deceptive since you can not see anything but steps defending to the entry underground...we were thrilled when we walked through to see an exquisite entry and property with a modern yet primitive decor. The same goes for the rooms which are all situated off of a dirt path but beautiful and well...

Sabi Sabi is contrary to Kruger a private resort. So you don't drive your own car, but you go with a ranger and (and this is very important) in an open jeep, which makes the experience so much nicer. We stayed 3 nights and saw many times over all the animals that we wanted to see. We were really impressed...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Earth Lodge this fall - it was fabulous. The service was incredible, the accommodations were luxurious and the access to animals first rate. As a solo traveler, I always felt safe it was easy to meet and interact with others. It really was a great trip. I hope to be able to...

The photos do not do Earth Lodge justice! The feeling is peaceful and luxurious. The staff is warm, welcoming and yet efficient. Each suite is an oasis of harmony with its surroundings and every detail well thought out....(bug spray, sunscreen, binoculars, etc). Ranger Ryan and tracker Louie were outstanding and made the trip for us! What fun and yet so...

I guess most people who come here come, like us, for a combination of pampering and safari. First the safari: Our ranger and tracker were tremendously professional and pleasant, and yes - they found us the Big 5! - though you should probably know that being ready for the morning drive is like being in boot camp. Afternoon tea before...

The hut was amazing, everything was included. Simply a fantastic place to visit. The animals walked all the way up to our hut allowing us to view them at 20 meters distance. The food is quite good. The only thing that could need some improvement is keeping track of which table orders what. This was an actual problem for us...

The moment you walk into Earth Lodge you know this place is special; but just how special is hard to describe. The architecture is inspiring. The staff from reception to night-watchman most accommodating and helpful; Food was great and service perfect. All of this in the middle of some of the best game viewing areas- what a treat. Stefan and...
