A stay at the Dulini River Lodge will ruin any other vacation experience. It begins the moment you drive up when you are warmly met with a cool towel to wipe the road dust off of your hands and face. Check-in is brief, easy and personal, simply describing the daily routine and safety rules. By the time this is finished,... More

Leadwood Lodge is an intimate property nestled in the fork of the Sand and Mabrak Rivers in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve adjacent to Kruger National Park. Since there are no boundary fences between the Sabi Sand and the Kruger Park, the reserve benefits from the great diversity of animals found in one of the richest wildlife areas on the... More

My husband and I recently stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days as recommended by my sister. It was our first safari and What an excellent recommendation!! The experience we received was second to none. The lodge is beautiful, spacious and has a large deck over looking the river with private plunge pool. The ranger and the tracker assigned... More

My wife and I spent three days at this lodge in September 2016. It is located in a wonderful location next to the Sand River in the Sabi-Sand private reserve area adjacent to Kruger national park. The setting along the river allows you to see animals all day long. The casitas are clean with an African theme. The rooms were... More

My wife and I spent 5 magnificent days at the newly named Dulini Leadwood lodge. We also visited here 2 years ago. We have stayed at over 40 camps and lodges in both south and central Africa and rate Leadwood as the best. It caters for only 6 guests and is situated on the sabi sands river. The lodges are... Exeter no longer squeezes three passengers to a row on its game drive vehicles, to everybody's relief. We were met at the local airstrip by Craig in a brand new vehicle, complete with little luxuries like polar fleece rugs and ponchos for the cold mornings, and a set of binoculars, hand sanitiser and tissues in each console in the middle... The associates that work there are excellent and have a great feel for the animals. Lodge was sold during our stay. The common areas were first class. Our room had its own pool, not heated, out door shower, excellent, but rooms were a little shabby and worn for the prices they charge. Animal viewing excellent. We saw recent lion kills... More

Everything was superb. And apparently they are upgrading soon! Personal pool on deck, large rooms and a living area in our room. We enjoyed the meals, but would have liked the option of group dining. Several on our drive would have enjoyed dining together too, on occasion, but it was never set up that way. Craig is the best guide.... More
