I stand to be corrected but in short I believe the answer is no. It’s not malaria free. However the risk is very low and with the right precautions and medication you’d be incredibly unlucky to get malaria. The greatest risk was in the evening eating when it’s dark with lights on in the bar and dining area, both of which were in the open air. Repellent and correct clothing reduces the risk further. They have mosquito nets over the bed. Hope this helps.
