I stay at Arathusa in August 2013 and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tracker and ranger were both extremely knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure we saw the Big 5 - which we did! Plus a cheetah so that was special. The actual location of the resort was remote and quite a journey to get there. However, as soon...

We stayed three nights at Arathusa in October and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The location and rooms were beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend a room nearest the watering hole as we saw so much from the comfort of our own plunge pool. Delicious food and very animated attentive staff. The game drives were very impressive we saw all the big...

We stayed at Arathusa for 3 nights in October 2014. During this time, we saw 6 different leopards, amongst them a female with 2 8-week old cubs. The big win for us was to witness leopards mating during our last night time game drive. Our ranger, Roy heard them roar and said we should go find them, and there they...

Driving to Arathusa is a little bit exciting. The website says not to follow your GPS but the directions from the website. But when you are driving on a sandy off road with not much to see and no signs around, you get a little bit scared if you are going the right way. Eventually there is a Sabi Sand...

We were there for 3 nights as honeymooners in October 2014. during those 3 days we saw the bike 5. Just during a ride we saw 3 leopards. We even saw a Leopard killing an impala. the guide (Cedric) and the tracker (Derek) have been incredible and provided a lot of insights. nothing to complain about the food, excellent service...

The lodge is very nice but I was very disappointed with our room. Though it was a beautiful spacious room with a small plunge pool, it was in the bush with no view of the waterhole, 500m away from the lodge facilities and after sundown and before sun up, you have to be escorted to and from the room for...

It has been awhile that we were in South Africa, but our trip to Arathusa remains one of the highlights of our many years of travel. We were able to see all of the big five over three days and even got to do some of the safari on foot. We were treated extremely well by the staff, the food...

We stayed at Arathusa for 3 nights at the beginning of August 2014. From beginning to end, our stay was memorable, enjoyable and comfortable. Upon check-in, we were given a refreshing drink and escorted to our suite. Although we had reserved a standard room to have a view of the waterhole, we were upgraded to the Jackalberry Suite, which is...

My wife and I stayed at the lodge for 4 day this last week. What a wonderful experience. The trackers and guides were terrific. Kudos to Derek and Cedric who did a phenomenal job showing us the Big 5 and plenty more. Our bush lodge was huge with a splash pool and bathtub opening into a private bush setting. George...

We stayed here at the beginning of August this year with our two sons. We had been in the Kruger driving ourselves and self-catering so we were looking forward to being driven and having a bit of luxury. I am not sure we were ready for this though! We were met at the reception by the friendly reception lady and...
