I don't know you, but I'm assuming this is the lodge for you because you are going to Sabi Sands and you want the best safari experience you can possibly get. Idube is the place to do it. Two three-hour game drives per day for three days equaled eighteen hours of driving through the bush with our ranger and tracker.... More

The animals are amazing and our guides were very entertaining. We saw Leopards, Elephants, Rhino, Lion, Water Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, lots of antelopes, baboons water hogs, birds… as well as some more obscure animals like the ‘bush baby’. While the vehicle safari is great, we did particularly enjoy the walking safaris. If you want to see animals, Idube is very... More

This was an amazing trip my family took! I love the lodge and grounds. The rooms were amazing and new. We loved the outdoor showers and never took one inside. The food was ok but could have been a little better. The picture of the big 5 here is from my camera on what we saw there.

If we had fantasized a perfect South African trip it would not have been as good as our stay at Idube. There is a sense of really being in the African environment, with nyala and warthogs grazing on the lawn, and elephants appearing at the water hole. And yes, leopards do occasionally appear on the lawn, presaged by the chattering... More

Best place I've ever stayed. Saw every animal I imagined to see and more: rhinos, lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, hippos, everything. This was in part to our excellent guide and tracker, Brogan and Ronald. Brogan made every game drive a better experience than the previous and made the trip overall a truly once in a lifetime experience. Martin was... More

OMG!!! This place is everything and more! Most importantly the game drives where out of this world. I am so glad I got Promise as the ranger for my drives. Got to see the Big 5 multiple times and also got to see a female lion catch dinner(which I hear is rare). Promise went above and beyond to make sure... More

Idube offers great value if you want to view leopard and lion. The sightings are frequent and this makes for a exciting time when on safari. The food was homely and ample and the accommodation suited us perfectly as a family.

We arrived at Idube having spent four nights previously at Nkorho. The experience at Nkorho was far superior and this certainly affected our overall impression of Idube. Idube's setting is pleasant and lots of animals (baboons, impala, kudu, warthogs etc) roam freely on the property, but it lacks that wide, expansive view that many lodges have. The twice-daily game drives... More

We had Brogan for our ranger and Ronald for our tracker and they never let anything get past them! We saw EVERYTHING you can imagine, including spiders, chameleons, and dung beetles battling over dung balls! They were so knowledgeable about the animals habits and sensitive to their desire to be left alone. These guys are AMAZING, like game whisperers! The... More

We were at Indube in June and were absolutely delighted with the entire experience. The staff was friendly and helpful-meals were wonderful. The guides and trackers have an astounding ability to find game- and then - if possible- to position the truck the best way for photos. Watching 8 elephants drink out of our pool was topped only by the... More
