Unfortunately we never got to go on safari as my husband was taken ill when we arrived at the camp. The staff were so helpful, Matt drove us to the medical centre immediately and then drove back to collect our luggage as we needed to get to a hospital 90km away in Nelsbruit. Seranne, from Andbeyond was in constant touch...

Experienced and knowledgeable guides and trackers take you twice a day on some the best game drives in Africa. When not on safari you can enjoy the beautiful colonial lodge and its surroundings (including meandering wildlife), comfortable bedrooms, fantastic staff and wonderful food. All this combines to make the best safari/pampering holiday you could ever hope for. This was our...

This was our first Safari so we didn't really know what to expect. We obviously knew it was expensive without really understanding why. When you get there you realize why. A Safari camp requires a large underlying infrastructure (not just people but the extensive track maintenance for example) to run it, and certainly run it at the luxury level. The...

Fantastic facility. Wonderful staff. Great food and unbelievable wildlife viewing. Whatever I write will not do it justice. We got lucky because recent rains had broken the two year drought. Saw the "Big 5" on first morning drive. Brett, our Ranger was brilliant and Kholin, our tracker, a legend. I saw 29 different animals and at least 40 different birds...

We started planning our honeymoon some 6 months back. We were quite certain about South Africa and were looking at options in Kruger for the safari lodges. We bumped into &beyond through their website and found the Kirksman Camp safari lodge ideal to our requirements (i.e. 5star deluxe lodge, Sabi Sands Game Reserve and extremely knowledgable trackers and rangers). On...

We went to Kirkman's in early Feb 17 and the weather was perfect. The lodge and accommodation were first class, the staff were very warm and helpful. Our very knowledgeable driver Josh and excellent tracker Jerry, were so good and every effort was made to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. Kirkman's is not low cost but great value...

Staff, accommodation, catering and game drives, all brilliant. We were greeted like family and the stay throughout was the same. The drives were both informative and exciting. Lots of game seen and varied drives as well. The whole experience was fantastic. I have been on other safaris as well in Botswana which were brilliant but for a family trip you...

Hard to describe how wonderful and magical this place is. Our entire stay was fantastic from beginning to end. Every detail was attended to and every need anticipated. The drives, led by our outstanding guide Josh, were fascinating and thrilling. We saw every animal we hoped to see and more, including four different leopards over three days. The variety and...

A great introduction to the South African wilderness! This was our first stop on the safari portion on our recent trip to South Africa. Overall, we really enjoyed it. The rooms were adequate and game drives solid, but the service and food & bev really shined. Definitely worth a visit!

Family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens on first African safari so didn't really know what to expect. It was truly beyond our expectations. It was a very homey atmosphere where it felt as if everyone knew your name. Everyone very friendly and really wanted to ensure you had the best experience possible. The game drives were amazing: we...
