My wife and I visited Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in late March for our honeymoon. We had been dreaming about a Safari trip for a very long time and had very high expectations. Upon arrival we were greeted by Tammy (with cool towels in hand), who gave us a warm welcome and a comprehensive tour of the property and our...

We just got home from our trip to South Africa/Botswana. After 4 nights in Capetown we were so excited to start our Safari journey at Lion Sandsl We landed at Skukuza and knew we were going to love this place. Cutest airport ever. We were met by Neil - who fast became a friend. Incredibly knowledgeable and loved his job...

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. Truly 5* Premium. We can highly recommend Dumay (Field Guide), Like (Tracker) and Tammy (Front Office/Reception)! Will certainly come back and recommend you to our family and friends. Our best experience throughout South Africa! Every detail from the arrival at the Airport in Skukuza to the Cottages (Villas), the field guides, food, staff and surrounding...

My husband and I kicked off our honeymoon with a safari at Lion sands, staying at Ivory Lodge. We already expected a fantastic stay from the reviews, but in reality the experience was even better than we could have wished for! The scenery and setting was absolutely fantastic - we saw a herd of 20 elephants casually strolling across the...

I'm sure there are many luxurious lodges in the Park. Certainly, this ranks among the best. To me, the people running and working in the lodge make or break the stay. Their people are simply the best. The facility is comfortable and the food is great, marched, of course, with great service. The safari drives were spectacular. We managed to...

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on your stay at Ivory Lodge. We stay two nights in River Lodge and three nights in Ivory Lodge. The last is more than twice more expensive but definitely not twice better. The only outstanding were game drives. The ranger Darren and his tracker are the real A-team, highly professional and devoted to the nature. Seems they are fond of the job they are doing! Really...

Having booked to initially stay in Narina Lodge, also owned by the same company, we were given an upgrade to Ivory Lodge. Now, I could not compare the two as we never visited Narina, which is on the Kruger side of the Sabi river, but I cannot commend Ivory Lodge enough and would stay here again without hesitation. For those...

We stayed two nights at Ivory Lodge, Lion Sands, after being upgraded from Narina Lodge, part of the same group. To say that the time we had at Lion Sands was spectacular would be an understatement. The Lodge itself is part of the wider More family group, and arguably the best. Positioned on the southern side of the Sabi River...

This place is simply amazing. The front desk - staffed by wonderful people (Tammy anticipated nearly everything and immediately took care of everything else). The accommodations - a beautiful vila where you could spend all day watching animals enjoy the river (from your bed, from your plunge pool or deck, or from your living area) while enjoying a fully stocked...

There are no words to accurately describe the quality of Ivory Lodge at Lion Sands. We were greatly impressed with the professionalism and engagement of the staff as well as the conservationism it reflects. Loved every moment of our stay!!
