An exceptional location and exceptional staff. The game drives were fantastic and they really went the extra mile service wise. We left our Ipad there and they arranged to deliver it to us 40 mile away as we could not get into the game reserve without a booking. One other thing - the animals all walk around the lodge and...

Luxury in the bush! What a beautiful camp with attentive service this is. The game viewing right on site is truly amazing (we saw lions, leopard, hippos, buffalo, warthog, vervet monkeys all right at the camp site) - it made me understand and respect the rules of not walking unescorted at night. The guides are great, caring, full of knowledge,...

Years ago, I spent 7 days on safari in Kenya, which was the experience of a lifetime…until I visited Djuma Vuyatela. Vuyatela has my highest recommendation for an amazing safari, vacation, and trip of a lifetime. In addition to seeing the Big 5, our driver and tracker enabled us to see a live kill, which was unbelievable. Our amazing team...

I can't imagine going anywhere else on safari in Africa. We saw Africa's Top 5 within 24 hours and then one morning before 8 am. Rich vegetation supports extremely healthy populations of a variety of animals. I never could have imagined watching elephants, rhinos, cape buffalo, lions, leopards and cheetahs within twenty or thirty feet of our Land Cruiser. Amazingly,...

At this camp the wildlife can just walk in and around it so this leads to a better mix of wildlife in the area and the camp is not closed off. This camp is more modern and not as dark as some of the the older lodges that seem to have a hard time with getting good light in the...

Having never been on safari before we were a little apprehensive about what to expect. Vuyatela is AMAZING, it's luxury in the middle of the bush. The rooms are big and clean, the food is outstanding, you will not be hungry! We were lucky enough to get lodge number one, which had the view straight out on the water hole....

Wonderful place to stay. The staff were so very welcoming and the guide and tracker were fabulous. They were so knowledgable and willing to share with us. It was great to have the guide having dinner with us and telling us all kinds of stories about the bush and his life. The lodge and accommodations were beautiful and relaxing. We...
