We came for a short ski day , booked through TripAdvisor. Everything went perfectly, no complaints. The ski shop honored the discount without any issues. I would have no problem booking here again. Nice place .

We spent the week between Christmas and New Year's in Room 113 in the lodge. Don't expect anything fancy - these rooms are basic. But they are clean and very comfortable. One Duralog was furnished for each night we stayed. The bed had a comfortable mattress, which is really important to me. The kitchen is adequate to make simple meals,...

We rented one of the cabins and it was great, nice size with a fireplace, small kitchen and a nice front porch to sit out and enjoy the weather! Close to everything, went for some nice walks, lots of deer in area! It was great!

Simply awesome is the only way to describe our stay. The cabin was excellent. Something we did not expect and really surprised us was the clearing of snow from our car. Yes, it snowed while we were here. I went out to clear the windows and it has already been done. All of the cars windows were cleared. So for...

So happy that you found us. Also glad that you got to experience a snow day. Ruidoso becomes magical when it snows. And yes on the clearing your windows. It is a tradition that was started by us fifteen years ago at all of our lodges and one that we know folks appreciate as most are not equipped to deal...

This cabin is a clean, well-maintained comfortable place to stay while spending time in the Ruidoso area. It is not remote but located within the city, so it is convenient to shopping and dining, and very easy to find. The property has 4 stand-alone cabins arranged in a tight cluster adjacent to the modest lodge that has many other rooms...

We stayed in Cabin 302 for a couple nights. Absolutely amazing! Loved the privacy, in-cabin 2-person hot tub, and overall feel!!! Reminded me of being back in east Tennessee, which is a good thing! Leah was awesome; very friendly, and helpful. Had flowers delivered before we arrived, and she put them in the cabin, to surprise my lady!

I was in town on business. This was a nice alternative to a stuffy hotel. I suspect that many people who stay here are in town for a romantic visit. It was great to have a kitchenette and I enjoyed the fireplace. The grounds are also a really great alternative to a traditional hotel. they were immaculate. I have to...

We were delighted about our stay at the Shadow Mountain Lodge. The room was spacious and well arranged with an equipped kitchen, comfy living space with a couch and wood burning fireplace, and a king sized bed. The mountain decor was inviting. And we enjoyed sitting on the porch looking out at the natural setting of pine and aspen trees....

My husband and I recently stayed at the Shadow Mountain Lodge and Cabins in Ruidoso, NM. It was fantastic! It should be noted that the rooms accommodate adults/couples only as they only sleep two. This is not the place for multi-member families or couples with children. Both the Lodge rooms and the cabins have a fireplace, king-sized bed and a...
