Dear Mary L,
As a longtime guest & former employee of T'Lodge Ruidoso, both pool & hot tub were not "out of order" but closed for the winter season as it is an *outdoor* pool, exposed to the elements.
The owner *&* ALL employees take great pride in "their" motel & if something *is* "out of order" and, if under their control, the issue is fixed as soon as humanly possible.
NOTE: The owner has wanted to enclose the pool to cater to skiers' needs for sev'l years, but as you can imagine, the costs would be quite high for such a project. Tho' the economy has definitely improved since the Bush years, T'Lodge & other bizzes still await the economic "boom" such a project would entail.
~Just wanted set the record straight. Cheers!
