Hello! Does anyone have advice about Rattray or Sable Vs. Main Camp? We are planning our honeymoon here for September and are having trouble figuring out if Rattrays or Sable is worth the money over Main Camp.
Thanks for your help!

Many thanks for the inquiry.
Rattray’s on MalaMala is a small, only 16 guests at a time, and private camp with no children under the age of 16 years permitted at camp. It is our MOST exclusive camp offering such luxuries of private plunge pools at each unit, your own private deck overlooking the Sand River, local drinks being included in our rate at this camp and many many more added extras! We also only allocate 4 guests per vehicle at Rattray’s on MalaMala.
MalaMala Main Camp is our Family orientated camp – our camp which accommodates children of all ages and which is MUCH bigger than any of our other camps! It can accommodate up to 55 guests at a time. This camp is a “friendly” camp which caters for all. The rooms are “old”-fashioned but great for the guests who wants to experience the bush a “traditional” way, but still with the GREAT game viewing we have to offer. We allocate 6 guests per vehicle at MalaMala Main Camp and Sable Camp.
Sable Camp is also a MUCH smaller camp, but with no children under the age of 12. This camp will be undergoing extensive renovations in 2017 and will not be available until mid-July 2017 – though the exact end date of the renovations is yet to be advised.
All game drives for all 3 our camps are conducted on the same property.
