For an upscale tented safari camp this is as close as it can get to real wildlife camping. Animals are literally all over the camp. You will not find a moment during the day to do a nap if you want to see all that's happening. The waterhole in the center of the camp is perfectly placed and you can...

So I've never been camping. I thought "tented camp" was just a slogan. I didn't dream id actually be sleeping in a tent! Lol. We usually prefer mint on our pillows and poolside pins colada type o luxury. That said, our stay at honey guide was the highlight of our trip! Let me break it down for you: Elephants were...

Our guide Fanuel showed us the big five, which included a leopard with cubs within three hours of arriving. All of this was preceded by a delicious lunch while an elephant was drinking from the swimming pool next to the verandah. The other guests at our table were similarly excited about the experience at Honeyguide Camp. Our guide shared his...

We had booked 4 nights in Kruger camps when we heard of this place so I booked a 4 day/3 nights safari at Honeyguide and it was the best decision we ever made on a 3 week vacation/holiday in Africa. We saw the Big 5 within 24 hours. A pride of lions, one male and 5 females which we saw...

We absolutely loved our time at Honeyguide. We were literally camping in the bush, with giraffe, elephant, hippos, warthogs, and even lions nearby (the last one was a little terrifying). Lyton was the ultimate guide, and he spared nothing to ensure that we had an incredible time and saw every animal under the sun. We were thoroughly impressed by his...

Our trip began in Cape Town then proceeded to Kruger Park - this was our second visit. My goal was to photograph leopards which I have missed on previous African safaris. The accommodations were as advertised - three-sided, fourth side is "tented. The meals were above average from other venues we have stayed at. The staff was courteous, remembered our...

In reality we would probably rate this 3 and a half stars. We stayed at Mantobeni camp for 4 nights in May 2016 and felt fitting to split this review into various sections for ease of reference: food, accommodation and lodge and, lastly, Safari. The food at the lodge was simply delicious. We were greeted with incredible variety over our...

If you're looking for a safari lodge, Honeyguided is the place to be. My wife and I stayed there for four days and we felt like we were in paradise. The meals were unbelievable and the staff was even better. The tents were comfortable, clean, and luxurious. With 2 game drives a day and a private bush walk, we saw...

My husband and I stayed at Honeyguide for three amazing nights. There are numerous reasons why this was an unforgettable trip, so I will keep it short to bullets: - Private game reserve. There are only 2 other camps on the Manyeleti game reserve, and its is conservation land. Sandwiched between Sabi Sands, and Timbavati game reserves, it is perfect...

Our stay at Honeyguide Mantobeni was our first safari experience and we loved it. The tents were warm (beds could be heated if necessary), and all of the meals were incredible. My husband has a food allergy and they were able to accommodate him with no issues. Our ranger, Twice, made our first safari drives such an amazing experience. He...
