The perfect stay, the owners, Corné and Miriam, are so pleasant and helpful people, they even nicelly served me a beautiful BBQ at the BOMA on my last night there. the accommodations are wide, comfortable and right into the bushes, so can cant get the "Real safari felling" ... The Balule reserve is that perfect, the game drives were great....

I just adore this place! This lodge is situated in the middle of the "wild" and you really feel and sometimes experience this! The picture showing elephants near the camp is not fiction: it can actually happen if you are lucky! Near the bar area there is an animal drinking pool where you can spot all sorts of animals if...

We stayed here for 2 nights in march and we had a lovely time. The rondavel is nice, basic but clean and quite spacious. At night we heared the lions roar which sounds amazing. The lodge is inside Balule game reserve where we had 2 game drives. We saw lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes and many more. The staff is nice and...

Miriam is a good host. The accommodation is nice and good. The game drive with Bert was excellent as well: he will do everything to show you the beauties of the bush and, of course, the animals. Dinner at night was simpel but tasty. Well done Miriam!

We booked several weeks ago into Amukela, and were very much looking forward to it. We have just arrived in South Africa and are jet lagged but happy to be here. This afternoon I got an email from Miram telling me that: I am sorry to inform you that there is a problem for the upcoming weekend. One of the...

We were really excited to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday at Amukela but it turned out to be really disappointing! 1) We were put in a bungalow with NO bed for our daughter! They've put a juvenile bed in our bungalow although they knew that our daughter is 10 years old. When we complained, they simply put a mattress on...

We are very sorry to hear that your stay was not what you expected and appologize for any inconvience. We hoped you would have expressed your views to us during your stay, so we could take adequate actions. For the game drive we must appoligize for the miscommunication about packing drinks, as we were under the believe that the field...

I stayed at the Amukela Game Lodge last weekend, together with my bf. As this was my first time ever, to stay at a lodge in a game reserve, I was very excited to go. I always imagined the typical African Game Lodge and how bad I wanted to spend the night at such a place. Amukela fitted perfectly within...
