Spent a great 4 days at the Sausage Tree Safari Camp in April. With a maximum of only 10 guests at a time, we felt very well taken care of - from the game drives to the meals to just chatting by the pool with house staff Andrea (she's fun :), James and Sonja. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all...

My husband and I really loved the Sausage Tree Safari Camp. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was delicious. James is knowledgable and great to talk with. He and Themba took us on amazing game drives. We saw lots of animals and the scenery was beautiful. Our room was extremely comfortable. The small and intimate nature...

This was my final stop for 2 nights on this trip to SA. What a shame it was not for longer. It was wonderful in all regards and the staff work so hard to maintain their standards. Nature can not always be predicted , but our animal sightings were fantastic

In Sausage Tree Safari Camp, you become part of the family. There are only 5 houses for 2, so at maximum you are with 10 guests. With them, you make two fantastic game-drives every day, with a very competent guide-tracker and a driver. Thereafter you will really enjoy the copious brekfast, the tastefull light lunch and the gastronomic dinner. For...

I just spent three nights at Sausage Tree and had the best time. From the moment you walk through the door, you are made to feel incredibly welcome. The whole set-up and operation are super professional. The accommodation is very comfortable, but not pretentious and the staff are friendly, but not intrusive. The food and wine list are excellent. Words can't describe how amazing this place is. We are married couple in our late 40s, well travelled. From first arrival you are greeted at the door , helped with your bags out of the car , introduced to your fellow camp mates and offered a welcome drink. We spent two nights at Sausage Tree. This was not enough. We already started to get used to the two to three hours morning drives, good food, hanging around, relax, game drives in the afternoon, Best gin for sundowner and would have extended the stay if possible. Small and intimate, only 5 or 6 tents and we enjoyed the communal...
