The stay at Mohlabetsi was not bad but I would not call it good either. Pleasent reception but not very personal. The rooms were average with uncomfortable beds. The outside shower was a bit uncomfortable with low temperature at the time. The game ride was ok but not as much animals as we seen at other game lodges

Staff are very friendly, helpful and very attentive. They go out of their way to make sure all your needs and requirements are met. There was more than enough to eat and it was very good food Accommodation is clean and pleasant. Only complaint I have is the rondavels/rooms only have an outdoor shower. Other than toilet and basin, there...

I was indeed impressed when they found lions in the bush, very hard to see, but they knew how to track them and succedded! we had 4 flights, 2 in the morning and 2 in the afteroon having the oportunety to discover life at the savanas early in the morning and late evening. We spent two nights in this beautiful lodge. The food, especially the lunches were very good and the views from the dining area and lounges are really spectacular. You could see an elephant walk by or herds of impala grazing. The accommodations were not luxurious but the room was spacious enough. There is a sink in the room itself and...

Intimate, comfortable, superb service, highly skilled trackers and guides - got us out of the path of a charging bull elephant very smartly! Room for improvement: It would be nice if ranger guided walks were available - as a form of exercise and to experience the bush without engine noise.

This was our third visit, prompted by enjoyable previous visits. This time we felt that the package had slipped somewhat in that the schedule was rushed and the staff, while still good, had lost something in the way of presentation. The Shangaan rangers are knowledgeable but not very communicative and the game drives too rushed in an effort to tick...

An absolute relaxing place with high standards of everything actually. From the lodges to the poolarea, dining areas (3 of them) and the safaris which are included. Very good food with a wide spread variety of the menue. Drinks at very reasonble prices that everyone going there can afford. Cleaning in the rooms and all the stuff very serviceminded. They...

My wife and I have never been to South Africa before, let alone on safari. As we planned our trip, we found Mohlabetsi on tripadvisor, and contacted them. They were so helpful in booking the bus ride from Joburg, as well as communicating with us. While we were there we felt like we were in a paradise. Amazing staff, great...

Everything about Mohlabetsi was terrific. Meals were tasty and plentiful, kind staff, great room and common area. We had Lucky as our guide and loved him-although we heard good things about Carl, Sam and Hamilton as well. Our favorite part of the day (besides the game drives) was dinner around the boma (fire). The room was perfect-decorated nicely, had a...
