What can I say about this beautiful place set in in the kalserie PNR. If you are looking for a genuine safari experience, supported by a dedicated team then look no further. The camp is set in the bush with 5 accommodation huts which have all you need for a good safari - a super comfortable bed, connected outdoor shower,...

Words can't describe what an amazing experience we had here. Not only was it our first safari but it was one of the most memorable experiences we have had and that came down to the incredible staff. The attention to detail, knowledge and friendly nature of Greg, Enoch, Jen and Chade made it all the better. Not to mention the...

We had a wonderful time at Africa on Foot in late February. Despite getting caught in a dramatic African rain shower on our first day, we saw so many animals in only three days - lions, rhino, zebra, giraffe, kudu, wild dogs, a hippo, buffalo, wilderbeast and even a glimpse of a leopard. Our guides Greg and Luan were excellent...

I have been visiting Africa on foot and Nthambo tree camp since 2010 and went to stay at AOF again last week. The first evening game drive was my 3rd big five drive there. The highlight for me was watching a lioness chase a leopard up a tree, astonishing. The two camps have recently been tastefully renovated and are looking...

Hi Thukela Nice to hear from you! Thanks so much for your review. We're glad that you have enjoyed our soft refurb - arrived just in time. And we can't believe you were there for that rare moment of the cat on cat chase! We have a remarkable team at both camps and we are constantly upgrading the menu, making...

We spent two nights (12/23 and 12/24) at this camp and had the best of times. The property is beautiful and very rustic, the guides are fabulous (Mike, Enoch and Greg were awesome), game rides are perfectly executed which enabled us to see all the animals and the food is to die for! We enjoyed Jennifer's hospitality and the time...

Hi There Thanks so much for your positive review. We like to keep things real and authentic at camp and we're glad you love our trackers and guides. Our main focus at camp is wildlife, atmosphere and getting our guests involved in the true African safari experience. Jen is an incredible hostess and runs a tight ship. We spend plenty...

From the time we showed up till the time we left we had an amazing experience. Africa on foot gives you a raw and authentic experience of the african bush, we always felt at home and comfortable, the food was made with passion and never had a single complaint about any meals. The bush walks and drives were handled by...

Hi There Thanks so much for your positive review. It is clear you had an incredible time! We've very positive about our lodge and ensure that each guest receives a personalised experience. That's the beauty of being a small camp! Jen and Greg are fantastic guides and hosts. We'll be sure to pass the message onto them. Clearly Greg and...

Loved this place, staff were welcoming and very friendly. Our first night was in their treehouse. We fell asleep with the mosquito net waving gently around our comfy bed listening to the sounds of hyena, lion and leopard. Such a romantic first night in Africa! Game drives were great, Mike and Greg were very knowledgeable and showed us a fantastic...

Hi Sue Thanks so much for your review and for the positive feedback about our staff. We're very happy you enjoyed the treehouse experience - quite an adventure and it brings you so close to nature. The sounds of the wild are the best! Mike and Greg are incredible rangers and trackers; it's very clear they're passionate about their work....

Our stay was disappointing in both ways. Accommodation was basic, not to say neglected. The food also. The management dit not really bother to make you feel welcome, rather indifferent. The tracker and driver did a good job during the game-drives.

Last week, my husband and I spent two days at Africa on Foot and I wish that we could have stayed longer. The camp is in a private game reserve (connected to Kruger) and has wonderful amenities. The cabins are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The staff is knowledable and friendly. Africa on Foot specializes in the little touches- a cool...

After staying in Kruger at the public camps and self driving (also great), we wanted a private experience where the lodge took care of meals and safari drives (wee bit of pampering). AOF was perfect. It isn't like a hotel dropped into the middle of Kruger, like some of the super high end places. The camp and rooms are still...

Hi There Thanks for your review! Our camp is small - we prefer to give guests a personalised experience and become part of the Africa on Foot family.
