Great place to stay in the bush. Lovely accomodation and excellent service. Guide/tracker were awesome, so knowledgeable and did all they could to show us the animals and local environment. Highly recommend staying here. Between the bush walk and game drive each day there is plenty of time to relax too!

This is the place to go and be one with nature in the bush of Africa. The staff were so amazing from cleaning, cooking, cocktails and guides, Greg and Enoch were "da bomb" with finding the animals. The animals we saw in 4 days went above and beyond what we expected. The set up at camp is perfect and the...

Hi Tom Thanks for taking the time to review our special camp. We aim to provide a personalised and authentic safari experience; which often lacks in other lodges. Our trackers and guides have grown up in the bushveld and know the Klaserie really well and the dynamics with predators and other species. Ah yes - the elephants, they seem to...

Hi There Thanks for your feedback. Yes - this is most certainly "Africa" at its best! The elephants seem to think that our swimming pool is their personal waterhole. One of the advantages of being located in an open camp is that wildlife can roam freely throughout. We're glad you experienced the treehouse - it's the perfect spot for the...

Very comfortable bush camp. Beautifully small. Food excellent. Guides and staff excellent ie above average. Be prepared to be sociable with other guests, its one if the benefits. Do take advantage of viewing and sleeping in the observation deck. Enjoy the elephants who frequent the space too.

Hi There Thanks for your review! Having a small camp means we can provide a more personalised and intimate experience, experiment with menus and provide that typical African safari atmosphere. Yes, we encourage our more adventurous guests to experience sleeping the treehouse! Warm Regards The Africa on Foot Team

I recently came back from my four-nigt-stay at African on foot. Excellent service where everyone did they very best to give me a special experience. Food was great and personal very accomondating. I love the combination of walking safaries in the morgning giving the oppurtunity to look more closely on tracks, droppings, insects and plants and game drives in the...

Hi There Thanks so much for your positive review. Four nights is just the right amount of time to stay at our camp - although we do wish you could have stayed longer. Our professional walks always add a different dimension to your safari - we feel that guests must learn all that they can about the bush. And that...

Lovely staff, resort and place. Would love to come again. Hope it will rain soon, as the surroundings and animals would love a splash of water. The treehouse is a lovely way to relax and look for animals yourself. The badger that scurried around at night was a great find.

Hi There Thanks so much for your positive review and feedback. We'd love to have you come back again and, yes, we desperately need water. However, we have just had a short bout of rain in the reserve! The honey badgers are often around the boma area at night - come again and we're sure you'll see them in action!...

This camp is amazing and the whole staff was very warm. The animals that we saw were are amazing!! I would come again in a heartbeat. The treehouse on grounds was a great spot to sit with a glass of wine and watch the animals go by.

Good combination of safari activity morning and evening with relaxation in the middle of the day. Comfortable public areas, including a tree house. Plentiful, tasty food. Don't forget khaki/olive coloured shirt for safari walks.

Hi There Thanks for your review - and for your advice regarding what to wear while on safari. It is important to wear neutral colours while in the bush. We're glad you enjoyed the layout of our lodge. The swimming pool in particular is a great place to relax during the heat of the day. Kind Regards The Africa on...

Hi There Thanks for your review. We're glad you enjoyed the lodge and the bushwalking experience with our rangers. Unfortunately, the wild is unpredictable and within an hour you might see the big five or just a handful of antelope. Once in a lifetime experience! Magnificent place, very friendly staff. We attended the game drive and morning walk. The activities were both exciting and impressive. One of the staff members joined the group for lunch / dinner.
