To make the long story short. Great staff who make it a wonderful stay. Rooms are basic and a welcome difference to the luxury camps all over Kruger. Drives are very well planned and the sundowner drinks a great experience. Happy to come back some time.

We had a very good experience of the safari. We had a chance to view the Big Five and special trips depending on what was interesting at the moment. The trackers were very flexible to change the goal for the day depending on reports from other trackers.

We were for the first time in South Africa and are very happy that Africa on foot was our first station. We learned a lot about animals and plants and we were impressed of the very competent and friendly Rangers and the friendly and helpful staff. Thanks a lot!

We really loves our stay here. We only had one night but its totally worth it. Next time we would probably stay more than one night, so you have the possibility to see more animals during the game drives. Also the food was very good and we had a very nice and friendly ranger. Thank you very much for this... More

We were a small group of 5 with friendly rangers. Jen was great in managing the camp and was always available when anyone needed anything. The cleaning and cooking staff though i didn't manage to meet them properly seemed great at what they do, there was some gourmet chef cooking there for some of the dishes we had ! They... More

We stayed at Africa on Foot for three nights and had a truly wonderful experience. The facilities are very nice and comfortable, the food is good, and the guiding is excellent - fun, informative, and professional. We didn't see the big 5 despite our guides best efforts, but we saw lots of animals and had fun trekking. The walking trek... More

Well worth the effort of a 4.30am start. Excellent guides. Good food. Friendly staff and just an all round fabulous experience. The accommodation lacked sophistication but this just added to the overall feel of being on safari.

Superb experience and particularly pleased to have taken the walking treks every morning. The guides were wonderful and took time to explain what they were finding which enhanced the experience for everyone. Meals were very well cooked and served in pleasant surroundings I was privileged to have been at this safari camp.

Africa on Foot was an amazing experience. Every night was an amazing 3 course meal, staff was extremely engaging, friendly, and fun, and chalets were beautiful. Safari trackers Greg and Mike absolutely made our stay. Wouldn't change a thing about our experience at Africa on Foot. Don't forget to spend a night in the treehouse!

We spent some beautiful days and we have to say this was the right choise for our first safari. The enthusiasm of Enouk and Greg changed over to us. The walks in the mornig, with the highlight of watching an elephant ten metres next to us, gave a magnificent impression of the animals and fauna. During the game drive in... More
