This was my very first safari and it was a wonderful treat! First the camp only accommodates ten ppl at a time so you get super personal attention and get to know all of the guest and staff well. Ryan aka Daisy was amazing as our guide offering us great insights and facts about the animals! And the spotter Issac...

100% satisfaction!!!! Our stay at the camp was amazing and full of outstanding experiences. And this was mainly caused by the great staff: Our guide/tracker Luan and Isaac made it to find the big five in only four game drives and Nadia and her colleagues at the camp made it that we always felt like being welcomed by friends. The...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay because of the wonderful and friendly staff, fantastic room, and just an overall wonderful experience. Having everything taken care of (food, safari, etc) was a huge plus that allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience.

This was an unforgettable celebration for our 25th wedding anniversary . Well organized, lovely people, good food and lots, lots of variety in animals and vegetation. Also small amount of accommodation, so quit and privat.

Had I not spent 10 days driving around Africa prior to my visit to nThambo, I probably would have rated this better. The mostly wooded habitat at nThambo is not conducive to viewing large herds or a large variety of wildlife at close range. We often drove through bushes to get closer to animals. Most were repeats of things we'd...

I was not too sure what to expect when I was driving here but bumping into wild dog, elephant and rhino on the drive to camp definitely helped. Seeing the tree houses and how well decorated they were and meeting the friendly staff and rangers made it a really special stay - I just wished I had stayed for longer.

We had a fantastic stay here. We have been on a few safaris before but had a few new surprises!! Luan and Isaac were our guide and tracker and they were great. We saw everything even a wild dog kill in the vehicle which ended up 50 feet from our room (1) so should of for once stayed in bed....

It was our first time in Africa and we already had a great time in Cape Town but our experience in Nthambo Tree Camp capped it all and made it such a wonderful trip. It is a really small place - just 5 houses and we were really made to feel at home. You spend a lot of time with...

We have just spent 4 nights here. The whole experience is just amazing. This was our first safari and it will not be our last. We will be returning. You cannot use hair dryers or straighteners here, this did not bother me but it might some people. You will not be dissapointed

We had a really great time here. Everything was great: food, drinks, safari. The staff were what made it especially awesome. We also stayed at another "luxury" camp and we liked nThambo so much better! Some things to know: -The accommodation is open air, so definitely bring bug spray and use the mosquito net. -No AC -Wake up call at...
