I was not too sure what to expect when I was driving here but bumping into wild dog, elephant and rhino on the drive to camp definitely helped. Seeing the tree houses and how well decorated they were and meeting the friendly staff and rangers made it a really special stay - I just wished I had stayed for longer.

It was our first time in Africa and we already had a great time in Cape Town but our experience in Nthambo Tree Camp capped it all and made it such a wonderful trip. It is a really small place - just 5 houses and we were really made to feel at home. You spend a lot of time with...

We have just spent 4 nights here. The whole experience is just amazing. This was our first safari and it will not be our last. We will be returning. You cannot use hair dryers or straighteners here, this did not bother me but it might some people. You will not be dissapointed

We had a really great time here. Everything was great: food, drinks, safari. The staff were what made it especially awesome. We also stayed at another "luxury" camp and we liked nThambo so much better! Some things to know: -The accommodation is open air, so definitely bring bug spray and use the mosquito net. -No AC -Wake up call at...

Super quiet environment, an oasis of rest and pure nature. Though most of the staff are young, they have a lot of experience and knowledge. Very good quality for a honest price. I wish I could come back next week !

We stayed her June 2014. Loved this place. Guides are amazing. The property is attached to Kruger with no gate so all the animals in Kruger come/go from here, but there's no restriction on going off-road. We had morning and afternoon drives and one WALK. Couldn't believe you could walk in the wild and be safe. We came across a...

We had a wonderful experiance, saw everything and extremely close up! The camp was well maintained and chalets very comfortable. Food was wholesome and the drinks cold! Staff were knowledgeable and patient? We will be back.

this was an amazing place - can't say enough good things about it - great safari - great accommodation and great food. although a little pricey well worth the money - our guides were amazing and went out of the way to ensure that we all saw the big FIVE.

We started our tour at nThambo and it was the absolute highlight of our whole trip. (We did the garden route afterwards) Nadia , Luan, Isaac and the rest of the crew are simply amazing! After only one day we already felt like at home. The atmosphere at nThambo is excellent. Every morning and evening we went on drives which...
