This was our second visit to Ngala and in the time since our last visit the whole lodge has had a major refurbishment and wow it looked fantastic. We were greeted by all the staff like old friends. Mamma Connie was wonderfully welcoming. The food, as before, was spectacular with an amazing choice. The rooms had been upgraded to a... More

Disappointed with the lack of animals as due to the drought many have moved away towards water and our guide said until they get rain and more water this will continue. The elephants came to the pool every day to drink and that was a treat to watch. Over 40 one day and you could be in the pool and... More

Wow wow wow.... I have never been so happy on a holiday before. The place is so awesome - under the skies shower, are you kidding me?????? So perfect for a getaway. No TVs, the game drives are superb (Bernard is the best. Also Thomas, what a team). Haven't checked out yet but I am writing this. Connie is a... More

We are already planning when we can next come back! :) We had an incredible trip and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff were great, so helpful, and knew us all by name. Our ranger and spotter Roan and Stevie were brilliant at going above and beyond to track the animals we were eager to see. We saw the... More

We stayed at Ngala for 2 nights and had a fantatic experience. The rooms were recently renovated and were very nice. The bathroom included an outdoor shower that was such a nice treat. There is an indoor shower as well, but why bother when you can shower outside! The room had lovely furnishings and came with a mini bar that... More

Great service, the newly refurbished rooms are really lovely, what made this location for us was the ranger/ guide Lyle and of course the very experiences tracker, Fanny, he managed to spot every type of animal, reptile and birds, he was amazing. Lyle, our ranger, was such a brilliant guy, I think he was as excited as we were to... More

We are so glad that we managed to have the opportunity to stay at both the Safari Lodge and the Tented camp. If you prefer a bigger resort with more "facilities" i.e. bar, extensive lounge areas and a very large dining hall then this is the place for you. As always the food was beautiful and tasty. Even the snacks... More

Well what can I say..we had the most amazing & exciting experience at Ngala. We have visited many game reserves in Africa & Botswana during the past 40 years...but nothing compared to our luxurious stay at Ngala to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday 5 weeks ago. We stayed in the safari suite and had superb accommodation and service. We had... More

This is a newly renovated lodge and is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The animals come to the water hole and pool on property. The lodge is open air and provides a view of the terrain and animals while dining. The location of the lodge allows access to their game preserve and Kruger National Park. Great staff!!... More
