We have had a great visit to Monwana Game Lodge, the surroundings are amazing, beautiful large room with veranda looking into the bush. We have been on Dawn and Dusk safaris with no more than 8 people. We have seen too many animals and birds to list. We have learnt a lot from Jacques, the ranger and been amazed at...

A real gem of a lodge with a maximum of only 8 to 10 guests. Very comfortable accommodation, super meals and enthusiastic hostess, guide and ranger. I would suggest a minimum of 3 nights rather than the 2 we booked.Give yourself enough time to enjoy the facilities and tranquility that Monwana offers.

To say that I enjoyed my holiday is simply not to do it justice and that is why I have entitled this as truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived to the moment I reluctantly said goodbye to the staff who had become like family my experience was full of wonder. The accommodation, the animals, the birdlife, the insects, the...

This was the last lodge of a 2 week safari and we really didn't want to return home. Exceptional game drives led by Jacque and Jeffrey.viewed everything we wanted and more. Jacque really went out of his way to ensure we got the most from our drives. Emma is a great manager of the lodge and always greeted us with...

After an incredible safari at Serondella last year, we decided as a family group that we would return this year for a week at Monwana. I book a lot of travel on line so agreed to organise this. It was perfect with Charlene's help - so easy! And when we arrived, everything I had asked for had been seamlessly translated...

Monwana quickly weaved it's way into our hearts on a recent 7-night stay with our family. It's a holiday that I'll be raving about for years to come. Jacques and Rennico were bright and enthusiastic as they welcomed us to our early morning game drives where surprises awaited us before we'd even left the grounds (don't forget to look up!!)...

We went through a travel agent to book our trip and didn't do a lot of research or know much about where we were staying. We were very curious about what Monwana lodge was going to be like and even how the game drives would go. We were blown away. The entire property was beautiful. They were full so my...

Been remiss in writing this. Spent 4 nights, which was just the right amount of time, with my daughter in mid July in the Honeymoon Suite which was the only room available due to our late booking. Ranger was extremely knowledgeable. Tracker helped us see just which animals we were looking for on each trip out. Great food. Lovely accommodations.

I stayed two nights at Monwana as part of a safari package. I've always been partial to smaller lodges - this one is PERFECT! The personal service from the team was second to none. Ruan was an excellent guide; it seemed like he made it his personal mission every time we went out to find something exciting. Shelley was just...

What an experience in every way! South Africa and our warm-hearted and beautiful memories at Monwana will be a family favorite memory indeed! Jacque, Morris (ranger and tracker) and Emma (manager and more!) were a true delight, and the introduction to the South African bush they provided was amazing! We were spoiled!! We were so fortunate to share our game...
