Tanda Tula is perhaps the most luxurious lodge in the Timbavati concession adjacent to and connected with the Kruger. Everything is included here: all drinks, sophisticated food, game drives with never more than 6 persons on the vehicle, excellent rangers and trackers, a fantastic pool, animals walking through the camp. Dale, the manager, was very attentive to personal details; he... More

This is our second time to this Camp, we visited Tanda Tula in 2014 and now in 2016. I plan to make trips to Tanda Tula a regular thing. We have been to a lot of countries in Africa and each one offers something different. However, Tanda Tula, offers my soul a resting spot. This is truly a wonderful camp,... More

We stayed at Tanda Tula for four nights and had a magical experience. The lodge and rooms are beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The food was delicious with lots of choice. The hospitality and attention to detail provided by every single member of staff was wonderful and we were made to feel very much at home. However the real focus... More

Located an hour from Johannesburg by aircraft and then about a 50 minute drive to the camp. Game drives at 0530 and then again at 1600 and the former included a bush breakfast in a glorious location (by the river albeit no water at the time) and a coffee stop. The afternoon drive included a choice of tipple whilst watching... More

Tanda Tula was our first safari and we left wishing we could stay longer. From some early questions before arriving, Hayley guided our planning and upon arriving, the entire staff was kind, attentive and overall wonderful. The 'luxury tent' is exactly that - a canvas tent with some plumbing but it suited us just fine. The safari, the guides and... More

We stayed here in July of 2016. The game viewing was great, although I did not find our guide to be as informative as the other guides we had at other camps. In fact we learned very little about the animals or the environment here. The staff was hard working and accomodating, I was traveling with my niece who has... More

Tanda Tula is an amazing experience and the whole Tanda Tula family make it a truly memorable adventure. The food is out of this world, the accommodation is luxurious and the setting is idyllic. Thank you to Harry for playing football with my son in 40 degrees heat (he will never forget!), Luke for being the best tour guide we... More

This was our second visit to Tanda Tula and it did not disappoint . The upgraded tents and lounge area are fabulous . The food is as exceptional as ever - bush breakfasts, leisurely lunches and plated dinners as will as the boma experience will leave you more than satisfied if not a little heavier ! The staff as always... More

My wife & I spent three nights at Tanda Tula and it was an incredible experience. From coffee delivered to your tent before the morning game drive to a delicious evening meal; the entire day was a perfect way to experience the African bush. Our guide, Luke; our tracker, Jack; and the entire staff were consummate professionals and unbelievably warm... More
