This was the first stay in Africa for my family (I have been around allover in the 90ies) and I took them to this remote ecocamp with donkes showers and hot water made over a fire. Yep! One of the best experiences we ever had. Set in semi-open huts for a max of 16 people and only surrounded by an...

Dear Andreas C It was such a pleasure having you and your family stay with us. Thank you very much for this review - I love how you touched on all the great, unique things about Mosetlha and Madikwe :) We would love to have you guys back, just say the word! Thanks and best eco regards Caroline Lucas

This is the 3rd time that I've stayed a Mosetlha because Caroline & her group provide excellent services. Having no electricity or running water enhances the bush experience without making the experience uncomfortable. As a vegetarian, I especially enjoy the cuisine because Caroline (the owner) is one also, so I get terrific food. The game drivers are organized by excellent...

Dear John K Thanks so much for your review - and for recommending us to others. You hit on two of the things I love most - sharing meals at the big dining room table and meeting people for all over the world; and the 100 lanterns making the camp a fairy land at night - a sight you never...

We were so lucky to have chosen Mosethla Bush Camp out of all the lodge options in Madikwe. From our pick-up at the parking lot to the dinner preferences of the guests: everything was done with the utmost care, attention and thoughtfulness. We felt instantly at home. You might think that staying in the bush during winter would be a...

Have just returned from Mosetlha having had a great time, albeit too short. The weather was cold so had to make sure i wrapped up warm for the game drives - this was primarily the reason for my visit and so i wanted to ensure i enjoyed them. Our guide Jonny was superb and ensured that we had the right...

The rustic atmosphere was very appealing - no WiFi, no electricity, no water on tap and no fence around the camp - no problem! The food and service were great but there were two things that we, as wildlife photographers, appreciated the most: 1. Each night we had opportunities to photograph resident animals in the camp - buffalo, brown hyena...

Mosetlha was my first "eco-lodge" experience. There was no electricity or running water, and to be honest, I think that really added to the experience rather than take away from it. The only "issue" that I had was with sleep. For those of you who have never been to Mosetlha, it is located within Madikwe Game Reserve and based on...

Mosetlha is a true eco-camp and the bush camp experience is phenomenal. The camp, while very safe, blends with the surrounding area rather than separates guests from it. The lack of electricity, plumbing, etc. does nothing to detract from Mosetlha as an extremely comfortable and clean place to stay. In fact, we never "noticed" the lack of electricity or plumbing...

No running water, no electricity, hot water heated by a donkey boiler, experiencing the "long drop" ..it was with some trepidation that I set off with my husband and friends to Mosetlha Bush Camp and Eco Lodge......we were met at the Main gate by Jonny who was to be our field guide while we were there. (the public are not...

Staying at Mosetlha and going on the game drives was one of the best experiences of my life! I would do it again in a heartbeat! The staff was wonderful, the accommodations were great, and we got to see nearly all of the animals. If I ever go to South Africa again I will definitely stay here!
