It's the closest place to Bosque to park an RV, so we can't complain. Does Billy, the owner do much to spruce up the place? Not really, but he's helpful, friendly, and if you're nice, he'll share his chili peppers. You might hear a train whistle now and again, but that's part of the charm. Don't expect internet here, though....

Not your scenic destination, but perfect for early and late treks into the Bosque for early flights and gorgeous sunsets. Nothing fancy, full hookups, shower house, gravel parking, but everything we needed and you can't beat the price! We enjoyed our stay!!

Owner os a great guy but place is gravel with very close parking spots. $35 a night for full hookup and 50amp . Owner wants to sell and move somewhere else. He does not issue confirmations for reservations. Takes only cash or check.

Stayed here again this year. Nothing has changed over the years. But I wanted to update the review a bit. We met the owner this trip. In the past there was always someone in the office to get you settled but didn't have the opportunity to meet him. What a great guy. If you stay here try and catch a...

The park was just out of the reserves boundaries and if you are there to watch the birds this is a great location. It is true it was no frills but at $25 a night it was a deal. Billy greeted us upon arrival and let us take our pick of several sights. It was quiet and after dark it...

Your basic gravel parking lot with hook ups. Owner is friendly and helpful, but it would be so much nicer if he had you pull in facing north, then your door would open to the east and in the afternoon you could sit under your awning, instead of having to sit behind your rig to find some shade. Great location...

The RV park isn't much more than a place to park and camp. They have the basic needs such as water, electric, sewer and restrooms and not much else. But this is the place to stay if your visiting Bosque del Apache Animal Refuge and need to camp or RV.

This RV park is very near the entrance to Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. The owner is friendly and goes out of his way to help campers. There are flush toilets and full hookups if you need them. Tents are allowed. There are a couple places to eat in nearby San Antonio, NM. Soccoro, NM is just 30 minutes north...

This is a very basic campground with the ideal location: 1/4 mile from the entrance to Bosque del Apache NWR. Full Hookups, 30/50 amp service -- but that's pretty much it -- except for.... did I mention.... the location. The lot is gravel, there are no tables, but there are old wooden reels from cable and it's in a great...

In San Antonio but very nearby to Socorro, NM -Bosque Birdwatchers RV Park has a level gravel lot with few trees. Approx 35 sites. 30 or 50 amp service FHU available. No cable, no wifi. Clean bathrooms and small laundry facility. Not fancy resort accomodations but comfortable and off the highway for a nice quiet stay. Owner friendly and laid...

“If you are a birder, try to get a space on the outside of the lot, so that you can be close to the vegetation. Several species of birds will wander close to you.”
