My mom, aunt and I stayed one night at the Casa Blanca so we could visit the Bosque del apache bird sanctuary which is just a 10 minute drive away. The b&b is very charming and its owners Phoebe and Phil are warm, very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. Phil used to manage the sanctuary for years so was a wealth...

We've been customers here for years and always enjoy our stays greatly. It is a small establishment with only a few rooms, and you may have to book well in advance to get in, although gracious proprietor Phoebe can help you with other area B&Bs if she's all full up. Breakfasts range from average to very good; we've had "fancier"...

The Casa Blanca Bed & Breakfast in San Antonio, NM, is more than a place to stay. It's a delightful home. Phoebe Wood is a gracious host who makes everyone feel welcome. And Phil Norton is a wonderful source of stories about nearby Bosque del Apache. The rooms are comfortable and Phoebe's breakfasts are works of culinary art. After two...

Stayed over Thanksgiving for several days to photograph the birds at nearby Bosque del Apache. We had stayed here two years back and nothing has changed. The accommodations, food and service are excellent as before. Phoebe is the model for a great B&B owner/operator, sensitive to every need of her guests. For example, my wife mentioned a sensitivity to spicy...

Thank you Pheobe and Phil for your gracious hospitality during our short stay with you. Everything was excellent, including the king bed and the glorious soft water in the shower. Oh, and the lovely breakfast was greatly appreciated. We will be referring you in the future and would also like to return someday soon in the future. My best, Katalina

Phoebe and Phil have a wonderfully comfortable old home, and offered me their Heron room, which was enormous. The bed was huge and sumptuous as was the very spacious bathroom, complete with shower/bath/jets. Lots of closet space and terry robes if you so desire. Their outdoor patio is perfect for those long evenings and they have a fireplace if it's...

Perfect! Met a friend from Albuquerque that joined us at Casa Blanca. The Egret room was ideal for the 3 of us. The patio & fireplace that Phil built were fantastic and we enjoyed it both evenings we stayed. Sitting outside under the stars with a blazing fire was unreal and the perfect ending to touring the Bosque. Phil generously...

I wanted to be near The Bosque, and this B&B greatly added to my experience. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, with a large selection of books! Delicious food, lovely grounds (I enjoyed an outside cup of tea before leaving) and 5 AM coffee and hot tea in to-go mugs for us early-rising birdwatchers. I look forward to returning...

Because of flight delays coming in and an early start the following day, I was able to stay just a few hours, but Phoebe and Phil made me feel immediately right at home. Scrupulously clean, intensely quiet, and next time I'm there I WILL have breakfast!

It's all about the giant cookie jar full of Phoebe's homemade cookies .. and the wonderful breakfasts ... and the nice beds and bathroom .. plus a private entrance door from the parking area ... and the proximity to San Antonio's restaurants and the birds at Bosque del Apache ... We just can't say enough
