Loved, loved, loved this place! So comfortable and welcoming. We stayed in the La Madonna room. It was incredible, especially the deck area where we drank wine and watched the stars. Breakfast time was special...Khondru is the most amazing hostess! And the Spanish tortilla, delicious. And we couldn't ask for a better location. It's private, yet within walking distance from...

We arrived at 9:15 pm and was greeted with a warm smile from Carie. She was very friendly and gave us great recommendations on what to do and where to go. The next morning Khondru had a wonderful breakfast ready for us and was very accommodating with our special requests.

So welcoming and comfortable. We felt at home the second we walked in the door. This B & B is so full of color, texture, and surprise. The rooms are accessed by spiral staircases and not all of the rooms are in the same building so finding your way around is a fun adventure. We stayed in the Rainbow Room...

Local art throughout the eclectic spaces. Clean, charming - modern bathrooms. Climb the stairs to the top rooms for a view of the town. Have breakfast in lovely courtyard patio. Lots to do, see and eat in walking distance.

Owner Paco Martinez has clearly invested heart and energy in designing and furnishing this delightful B and B. From the hand-carved cabinetry to the original paintings and prints the rooms and public spaces have a near-museum ambience - though not as formal. Mr. Martinez generously showed us around the whole inn, whetting our appetite for a next visit. He and...

We have come back many times over the past 20 years. We have enjoyed a number of rooms, all with individual personality, each with its own story, each a museum unto itself. We have recommended La Dona Luz to friends and they were so happy with our advice. No place is so singularly wonderful as this B&B. I really could...

Loved our stay. Paco, the owner, has incredibly beautiful pieces of art throughout the B&B. If you like staying in a unique place with plenty of art and history, you will enjoy La Doña Luz. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Madonna room and were amazed by the paintings and sculptures as well as the unique pieces of furniture....

The owner and staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and how to find certain attractions. My rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated in Southwestern style; they included a separate living room with a comfy couch, separate bedroom and separate bathroom. The location was good-near the plaza and walking distance to good restaurants. Breakfast was pretty good. The...

What an incredibly lovely and special place. We stayed in the room with the rooftop Jacuzzi, and it was incredible. Paco accommodated our rather wacky schedule and Kerrie who served breakfast was very sweet and helpful. our only complaint was that we could not stay longer!

La Dona Luz is a home away from home. Paco and his staff do an excellent job of accommodating guests. We recently stayed in the Rainbow room for our anniversary. It is the most spacious and over the top room at this B & B. Hot tub on the roof, two stories with a full kitchen. Really nice. My wife...
