Quiet and friendly feelings abound. Stayed with them for the Taos Balloon Festival. Helpful hosts and staff. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. I left my own dogs at home, per statement on internet.and was saddened to see other guests with their dogs.

We found Inn on the Rio on the Internet. It looked like the kind of place we like to stay, but it turned out to be quite a find! The rooms aren't large but are very comfortable, and decorated with a basic southwest theme. The truly great thing about the Inn are the owners Jules and Robert. The are friendly,... More

This is the favorite place for us in Taos. Quiet.relaxing.enjoyable, we have stayed here quite a few times in the past 10 + years and the Inn is the best. A beautiful couple Robert and Jules with hospitality beyond compare. Breakfast is always a treat and the hot tub can't be beat.

We had a wonderful, quiet weekend at the Inn on the Rio to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The innkeepers were very accommodating and gracious and Stormy added a mellow animal vibe. Will definitely consider staying here again.

We found this inn on the Internet. This inn was was a wonderful two days of visiting relatives we hadn't met yet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor was kitschy and fun. We felt welcomed by our two legged hosts and our four legged host. Breakfast was amazing. I'd go back just to eat breakfast there.

I travel and stay in hotels frequently, so while on vacation am always looking for a B/B or alternative. I also have stayed in enough places to take one or two problems with a grain of salt. When planning, we depend on the reviews of others so I feel obligated to write my comments. First - if you love dogs,... More

The inn is located about a mile from Taos' downtown, near private museums and the first ever 'spaceship' house. It's owners were able to provide great restaurant recommendations and honest feedback on local attractions; even making reservations for us at popular sites. The beautiful gardens, hand-painted Southwestern touches, delicious breakfast, and lovely hot tub under the stars make the stay... More

Friendly owners and special mascot, Stormy made my stay very comfortable. Outdoor pool and spa were just what I needed. Hot, delicious breakfast and good company to share it with. Look forward to returning in the future.

What a wonderful relaxing inn! A friendly couple and their deputy, Stormy manage this delightful Inn away from the noise and traffic. The grounds are beautiful and a refreshing dip in the hot tub looking out at the hummingbirds and flowers will melt your cares away. The thoughtful owners remind me of the hospitality found in one of the better... More

It has been a couple of years since staying at the Inn and just completed 7 nights with Innkeepers Jules and Robert and of course, Stormy, the Inn's most amazing mascot! The consistency is still there and always feel that I am "home" in Taos. New items for breakfast, which is still hot and delicious with healthy alternatives, if you... More
