Everything everyone has written is true. Each unit is furnished with gorgeous, local art; the hospitality is awesome, and calibrated to the concierge level you need (from making reservations and planning your days to complete privacy) and the grounds are lovely and mellow. We had a great time and Richard was an outstanding host. OK, we are city folks...but feeding...

My girlfriend and I recently stayed here for three nights during a weeklong trip to New Mexico. We somewhat agonized over where to stay in Taos but were won over by the online reviews on Trip Advisor. We found Casa Gallina unlike anyplace we have ever stayed and look forward to a retun visit in the near future. Upon our...

My husband and I just returned from our first visit to Casa Gallina..it was a little corner of heaven in Taos! From the minute we arrived we felt at home..Richard Spera is the perfect "host" and we are only sorry our visit was so short(3 nights). With so much to see and do in and around Taos, we will definitely...

Everything people say about Richard and his casitas is accurate. He's friendly and helpful. He leaves you a nice snack to welcome you. His location is convenient and perfect once he shows you the back road to use into town. Don't be dismayed by the long a rough road you'll only take once from the highway, if you haven't already...

Richard and Casa Gallina are an extremely memorable experience. I have travelled around the world and stayed in all different types of places. Richard has created the most incredibly special place in one of the more tranquil locations of the world. It was exactly what I needed. There was no lack of detail or attention anywhere or with anything. My...

Casa Gallina had been highly recommended by a friend but when we arrived the beautiful accommodations exceeded our expectations. Everything about the place had the feel of comfort, beauty and peace. One of the other reviews used the word "magical" and I think the says it all. Richard has provided all the little touches that make it special. The wine...

Richard, the innkeeper, should write a book on how to run a magical B&B. Having stayed in quite a few B & B's, I must say this one is my favorite. From the note on the door to the "girls" (chickens) we truly enjoyed every minute there. The artisan decor is whimsical and every little detail was just perfect. If...
