My son and I stayed at the Hacienda del Sol during a fall photo expedition in Taos. The accommodations were perfect, food wonderful, and owners went above and beyond telling us the very best things to do, picking the best restaurants, making us feel right at home. The grounds and view was everything described on their web site. This bed...

This beautiful inn was a delight, and we wanted to stay longer. The owners helped to make it a special visit by letting us know what to do in the area. Their recommendations of restaurants and activities were excellent. Just sitting in our precious room or in the courtyard was a pleasure.

We have been staying every year at Hacienda Del Sol since the original owners in the 90's. It is even better now then the early days and Gerd and Luellen are just terrific as is their daughter and son in law. This is the only place to stay, beautiful location and lovely grounds. We always come back!!!!!

We stayed one night at this B&B which is rich in history of the original home. If you are looking for a high tech, glitzy, sterile environment.....move on. But if you want a secluded, quiet, relaxing experience, this is the place. Our gracious hosts, Erica and Chef Mark were welcoming and made us feel special. Breakfast prepared by Chef Mark...

This was our first trip to New Mexico, and we loved every minute. The B&B was fantastic! Our hosts were knowledgeable, available, and friendly without being intrusive. We got great tips about dinner and hiking in the area. Breakfast was delicious, and there were always snacks and tea out. The setting, with the "mountain as their backyard" was beautiful, and...

We spent one night at Hacienda del Sol in late September, and if we hadn't been on a tight itinerary, we would have tried to spend several more. Our hosts, Erica and Mark, were gracious, helpful, knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do, and fun to talk to. The setting is lovely -- a classic New Mexican adobe compound, opening...

As first time visitors to New Mexico, we couldn't have been more pleased with our decision to stay at Hacienda del Sol. Our room was great - a really comfortable bed, 2 nice armchairs, lovely Southwestern decor and a fireplace. Perfect! We stayed 3 nights and breakfast was wonderful each morning. Our hosts, Mark & Erica, made us feel very...

We stayed at the Hacienda del Sol one night in mid-September. We drove in from Santa Fe across the High Road, and had a wonderful time just getting to Taos. Once we arrived, though, things got even better! We loved our room (the Adobe, a bit off the main courtyard but with great furnishings). We sat and had wine looking...

Hacienda del Sol B & B has become our "home" in New Mexico. Whenever we go to Taos, or northern New Mexico, we choose to stay here. The Hacienda del Sol has many charms - the decor is quintessential Taos with a comfortable lived-in feel. The Innkeepers keep the place impeccably. The grounds offer gorgeous views of Taos mountain, and...
