We spend one night here in conjunction with a Political party on Election night. We had Room 108. The resort dates from the 1950's or 1960's (it was in a 1968 Best Western motel guide). Rooms and buildings are old but our room was clean, beds were comfortable and very clean, there were the usual toiletries and soap with all...

The Kachina Lodge is my favorite resort to stay while in Taos. It is a classic motor hotel with a very historic character. The location is perfect; the décor is beautiful, and it is affordable. I stayed for three nights on my most recent stay. The staff were attentive, my room was excellent, and I had a fine breakfast. As...

This was a great place to bring my boy scout troop in 2009 on our way to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimmeron, NM. We rafted the Rio Grande back then and I brought my wife back this weekend 7 years later to raft the same place. The room was as I remembered. We had a good stay here. The breakfast...

We've been thinking of traveling to Taos for years, a friend of ours suggested the Kachina Lodge and we were told to it was in walking distance to everything, and was a classic adobe style hotel with lots of charm and elegance, and we were not disappointed.....it was in one word AWESOME. We did read some of the reviews on...

I love this place and hadn't been back for quite a few years. The room was wonderful, quiet, great bed, warm, but.. First the Internet was down. Ok, that can happen (for over 24 hours?). Then the hairdryer had been smashed and replaced as if it were fine. Big light bulb out in the bathroom. (This is why a 4...

We stayed here for two nights during a fly fishing completion- The place is old and dated. The rooms where clean but there were coffee machines with no coffee. They do have flat screen tvs and the beds where ok. If your looking for a budget motel its not bad but not my first choice. It definitely needs a remodel....
