The price was nice! We found the hotel to be outdated and not the cleanest place we have stayed. However the decor of the room was cozy. Wi-Fi was NOT available unless you visited the lobby! The hotel does have a restaurant and you receive a 50% discount on breakfast for being a guest! The food was very good!!!!

Lodge was built in late 1950s to mid-1960s and shows it. Rooms are on the small size and the bathroom was tiny. The space to put basic things like tooth brushes & combs was inadequate. The towels were thin. The towel racks were the cheapest kind that you could buy at the hardware store. The towel rack itself was put... More

This is a very old place and looks like there hasn't been much put into the property. It is quite large but not a lot of love and care. Everything is shabby looking. The room was very clean just worn down and ""old".No coffee maker in the room and little in amenities. A refrigerator and a microwave. The sad part... More

I would not recommend this motel. It is very outdated and needs work badly. The air condition did not work at all. The television is the old picture tube type and it had a poor quality picture. There was very little water pressure in the shower. For the price they charge to stay you would think they would at least... More

Was my first visit to Taos, and the hotel was perfectly located near the Pueblo and casino, it made walking around town a attractive option. Breakfast was only half-off and seemed to take a while to get, lunch was great but not half-off. The rooms had no wi-fi despite the girls at the front desk trying to help me connect.... More

Had a wonderful stay, clean rooms! Nice atmosphere. Wonderful staff Sheri and Dustin were very helpful during my stay! Will return in the near future. Staff was great, the breakfast was good, and noise level was minimal. Thanks again Sheri and Dustin, your help was appreciated!

I made an impromptu trip to Taos with two international visitors, and was able to book the Kachina Lodge at the last minute. The property is sprawling and relaxed. Rooms are basic, but large and comfortable. A large pool welcomes swimmers and sun worshippers alike. Parking is abundant. The real standout at the Kachina Lodge is the front desk staff.... More

We Loved this place. We came into town with no hotel reservations and found this hotel, very simple and convenient to everything. Ann at the front desk was amazingly helpful and very pleasant to deal with. There is a great brewery next to it, highly recommend.

Expensive room, $125+/night. Kind of neat and retro, but also run down. Room had a window air conditioner. We turned it on and left for dinner. Came back 3 hours later and room is still not cool. Only a light stream of cool air coming out. I complain to the desk. She gave me the key to a room a... More
