As a senior adult, I’ve stayed in a lifetime of hotels…but have never experienced the level of courtesy and positivity as the Sierra Grande Lodge staff has given me this weekend.
The lodge is peaceful…and comfortably furnished, with refreshing outdoor seating areas, as well.
A tasty full breakfast is served…eggs topped with cheese and green chile, smoked bacon, breads and giant muffins, varieties of fruit and oatmeal.
Topping it all off is the inclusion of private soaks each day for all guests! The outdoor mineral soaking pool we enjoyed was tranquil and beautifully designed.
We’ll most definitely return to this oasis retreat!

Absolutely lovely! We were allowed to bring our well behaved medium size dog with us, otherwise we would not have gone. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not open for dinner given a worker shortage; however, breakfast was GREAT. I had a massage from Liz, which was excellent. Soaking was great including the mineral water in the room bathtub. Room itself was a bit small.

This is a nice hotel in Truth or Consequences. Each night you stay comes with breakfast and a soak in one of their hot springs. We did the soak - it was very relaxing after a drive in the car from Albuquerque. Staff were super friendly and had good recommendations for dinner. The room was small but perfect for two people. Would absolutely recommend.

We loved our getaway to Sierra Grande Resort. The rooms were quaint, quiet, and very comfortable. Each room has a fan, AC, and a beautiful large tub for in room soaks. The daily soaks in the hot springs are fabulous. My skin was so soft after. Try the out door soak under the stars! We also took advantage of a 1-hour massage and it was absolutely the best massage either of us has had. Breakfast was to order and delicious. We went to be in the sun & relax and this resort & Truth or Consequences did not disappoint. Will return!

If you’re within driving distance of T or C, New Mexico, there’s no better place to soothe yourself and still be safe than this hot spring spa hotel. Exceptional in every way, this charming Ted Turner-owned property makes social distancing easy. With several individual soaking tubs indoors and one outdoors, filled upon your request, you can be soothed and safe at the same time. The rooms are Western style traditional with lots of character and comfortable beds. Some rooms are outfitted with personal natural mineral water tubs and the friendly staff members sanitize all surfaces in each room. The restaurant and bar are of course closed, but a few nearby restaurants provide take out. Breakfast from “Grapevine Bistro” was terrific. Current low rates also make it possible for budget travelers. I hope to return when the crisis is over and their highly rated restaurant reopens.

Front desk staff is great! Rooms are not what you think your getting for that type of money, seriously needs to be updated.
Stayed a few nights did not receive housekeeping service not one time! No I did not have up the do not disturb sign up!
Housekeeping staff not so friendly, I asked for help and the lady with the badge on just walked right passed me with a crappy look.
I think her badge said Angela.
Upon on checking out I did complain to front desk, and not one time did a manger come out and address the problem.
Don't think I will return! It seems that place is going down and management don't know what they are doing.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the otherwise funky town of Truth or Consequences, NM. We went to celebrate Thanksgiving (and remaining healthy) in a warmer climate than Santa fe’s. A Ted Turner property, the lodge is well run and well served by a friendly staff who went out of their way for us. The fabulous geothermal tubs (Both indoors and out) are refilled for each guest and The hotel limits occupancy to 25% so we never encountered other guests. They provided a very nice TG dinner and may do the same for Christmas dinner. Highly recommended.

From the minute I called to confirm our arrival time, the staff were friendly and so accommodating. Each staff member went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best possible experience.
Room (queen rock garden) was clean and lovely. Not a huge room but tub was large and window opened up to rock garden views.
Such a relaxing treat to bath outdoor late at night and rejuvenating in the morning before we hiked Tutleback Mountain. Breakfast delivered Covid-consciously to our room was more than adequate (fresh fruit, oatmeal, coffee, juice and yogurt)
Would definitely return:)

I splurged and staid in a room with a jacuzzi tub that had a spigot to the spring water. I soaked, took a nap and soaked some more. It was so relaxing and calming from days of travel. The staff was so nice and attentive. I did travel with the Covid restrictions going on so I was not able to partake in the restaurant. Food was an issue. The staff brought me a carafe of coffee in the afternoon. It was definitely worth the splurge and I will stay again when traveling through.

The place is unlike anything we have seen with a mineral bath included in the package and massages available. To have as a component of Ted Turner's absolutely superb ranches is simply the bomb. The tour by Amy Morrison of the Ladder ranch is something we will always remember. The hotel being a bridge of access to the ranches was a smart play on Turner's folk's part. Truth or Consequences is an understated quality destination in a time warp- and fun. Sierra Grande is an oasis there. You will not get wowed by 4 Seasons elegance. You will most certainly find the people, the town, the place, and most especially the ranches endearing, visionary, and special.

We do not allow smoking anywhere in the Lodge - all rooms are non-smoking and the patio and balcony are all no smoking.
We do allow pets with the following guidelines: We allow pets in our two downstairs rooms only. Pet must be 25 pounds or less, only one pet per room, and there is a $25 pet charge per night.

Thank you for contacting us regarding an upcoming visit. Included with the price of your room is continental breakfast, which is served every morning from 7-10 am. And also included is a private 30 minute mineral bath per day that you are here. All tubs are private and book by appointment. If you stay one night, for example, you receive a 30 minute soak the day you arrive and then another soak the next morning before you check out. If you wish to have additional baths, they are $25.
All spa treatments include a soak. So if you book a massage, facial, body wrap, etc. you would receive another soak with that treatment. If you stay a minumum of 2 nights you might want to consider doing a package, which you can view on our website under "Packages."
