The older couple managing, were friendly and helpful and were observed helping a handicapped man and his daughter park their vehicles and get settled into their room.
In summary, the Government always looks at purchases by Gov. Employees as was it "Best Value to the Government" and I assure anyone for the quality of the stay and the price - this motel is just that - exceedingly beyond compare of not only this geographical area - but all over the world!

The Rocket Inn is a small motor lodge style motel in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico. It's got a friendly vibe and it has a fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly. The room was need and clean. The AC worked well (important in the desert). It has a nice little picnic area outside that was a fun place to relax with a beer and enjoy the sunset. One thing I really liked was that the Rocket Inn doesn't just allow you to bring pets, they have amenities to make your furry friend's stay nice too. The room came with a 'pet kit' that included a water bowl, some treats, and supplies to clean up after your pet. That impressed me and my wife. Even though we didn't travel with our dogs, it's always nice to find places that are this accommodating to them. The place also had a very "1960's- Route 66" feel to it that added to the enjoyment. I highly recommend this as a good place to stay when you're in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico.

This place was really cute and clean. The rooms came stocked with the little things, like coffee, a few bottles of water, make up wipes etc. The staff was really nice and made excellent recommendations about places to visit in town.

The Rocket Inn is truly a hidden gem. From beginning to end our experience was fabulous. We stayed here on a road trip around NM and our stay at the Rocket Inn was enough to want to come back again someday.
We were greeted at the front desk by the friendliest woman, I regret not asking her name as she was incredibly kind and helpful during our entire stay. She showed us to our room which was perfectly clean and comfortable. She showed us how to use the AC unit as things were warming up in May and we were grateful to have it! She told us a bit about the town and how we came at an exciting time due to a major motion picture being filmed in the town!
By the time we were leaving the following morning, we were able to chat with her and the owner (who were in the middle of cleaning the rooms, I find it admirable to see the owner cleaning the rooms herself!).
Our stay at Rocket Inn was absolutely lovely and memorable for years to come. Thank you so much!

The Rocket Inn is a lovely vintage motel. Built in 1947, the rooms are small however very clean and very comfortable. Loved the Rocket motif in the room, especially the shower curtain! The heating/cooling unit is very quiet and the mattresses are extremely comfortable, which are important to me. The owner is very friendly, giving us an overview the room and amentities. We will return in the future.

We came here to see the Spaceport (absolutely worth the tour's $50 per person cost).
Laurie gave great food recommendations (Outer Edge Pizza and Grapevine), chatted with us and made sure we were happy.
The room is simple, clean and accented with rockets. I want more of it.
The shower gets hot almost instantly. The king sized bed is a nice treat. AC too.
The public area outdoors is near a busy-for-here road, has some shade and plenty of furniture.
I felt safe and comfortable here and slept the nights through. We even extended our stay from two to three nights.
Make sure you go to the hot springs somewhere, especially at night if you want some excellent rest.

My husband and I stayed here for one night because the places we usually stay at in T or C were booked. This ended up being a good thing, because we really enjoyed our night at the Rocket Inn. It's a lovingly and thoughtfully restored 1940s motor court with a great vibe. Our small but well-appointed room had a super comfy king-sized bed, and the entire room, including the bathroom, was extremely clean. This motel also has a great outdoor setup for guests, with Adirondack style chairs, a picnic table, and relaxing (not overpowering) outdoor lighting at night. Palm trees in the courtyard complete the vacation type atmosphere. Although the Rocket Inn is outside of the historic hotsprings district, soaking opportunities are minutes away by car, or you can walk if you prefer. Bottom line, if you're looking for a low-key and affordable retro motel in T or C, stay at the Rocket Inn!

Our night at the Rocket Inn was disappointing. The Rocket Inn is located right next to a major thoroughfare that has considerable traffic including trucks. When we checked in, we asked for a room further from the highway in the hope the noise wouldn't be as loud. The receptionist told us all the rooms are very quiet. While we can't speak for the other rooms, our room was loud into the very late hours of the night. Even earplugs didn't help. If you prefer a motel that is more on the quiet side, Rocket Inn may not be for you.

My wife and I, and faithful dog, spent three nights here recently come and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were visiting our friend who retired to TorC, and appreciated the central location of Rocket Inn. The bed was really comfortable, pillows just right, quick hot water, quiet (owing to the newer double pane windows, although there isn’t much traffic noise after dark), and especially the dead quiet mini split A/C. We would definitely stay here again!
