We had a wonderful time at the Umnenge Lodge and it is a lovely family place to stay. It is by far the most impressive guesthouse that we’ve stayed in. Our two small boys had so much fun playing rugby with the hosts sons and playing with the dog. The included breakfast was excellent and a great way to start...

I have spent four wonderful nights at Umnenge Lodge. Mary and Richard are doing everything for to make you feel at home. The Lodge with it’s beautiful interior is situated at the edge of De Kelders with direct access to the cliff path. The stunning view includes beautiful sun downs. If I ever pass De Kelders again, I will for...

Had a great weekend at this luxurious Guest House. We were able to watch whales from the balcony of our room, the lounge and the grounds. Boys had great fun scrambling over the rocks and collecting fish for the fish tank from the rock pools. The bedroom was very spacious and comprised balcony with comfy chairs, en-suite bathroom all done...

Awesome getaway place, with wonderfull hosts. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room and facilities are of high class standards, along with a sea view, where we watched dolphins and whales from our room balcony. It is a place I would recommend without any hesitation to any person.

This place was great and the owners go out of their way to make you comfortable. The children are also a pleasure. I only took 1 star off because they are both smokers (didn't bother me a bit) but one in our party had asthma and she struggled a bit, but they were so sweet and accommodating that even our...

We loved it! Beautiful room with a great view. It's like they adopt you in their family, it feels like home. The breakfast was also very good with fresh home-made bread, we couldn't stop eating it although we were full. They recommended us a shark-diving trip and a whale watching trip (and booked it for us) and it was great!...

It was by far the best weekend we’ve ever had! My boyfriend proposed to me that weekend and he couldn’t have chosen a better place for us to stay. Umnenge Lodge owners were extremely welcoming and helpful in arranging everything to make our stay special and memorable! The location is superb with the most beautiful view ever!

We had made a reservation 6 months earlier at another B&B (The Roundhouse) in Gansbaai, but on arrival were told that there was "no room at the Inn". What could have been a disaster for us, turned into one of the luckiest and most pleasant B&B experiences we have had to date. It was suggested that we try Umnenge Lodge,...
