If you're looking for a unique experience, loaded with personal attention, a broad spectrum of wildlife in their natural surroundings. Then look no further than the Munchenje Lodge. The management of the lodge, literally bends over backwards to ensure that each guests to feel at home, with also appreciating the wonders and splendors of their surroundings. Our personal guide "Wilson"...

lovely people, lovely food, lovely accommodation. Mr B you were a fantastic driver (even though you were very fast!!) highlight for me was the boat trip when we had lunch with about 60 ebbits (elephants) that were as close as 6 feet away.

Good location with view over valley towards Chobe River and Namibia. Lodge is basic and traditional; nice staff, ok food and very skilled guides. Rooms are dated; thatched roof houses many critters (esp. lizards and geckos) which seem to reside sometimes inside the room! Nevertheless we very much enjoyed our safari experiences with amazing and abundant wildlife in and around...

We stayed 3 nights at Muchenje Safari lodge to kick off our Safari adventure in Botswana. This lodge is about an hour drive from Kasane Airport but connected with a motorable road. The lodge is about half mile off-road from the highway and almost on the edge of the Chobe River/Namibia border. The lodge is at a slight elevation with...

Pros - loved that they had wifi (most times). Food was pretty good (dessert was average). Nice accommodations with A/C and nice showers. Courteous staff. Communal style eating which encouraged socializing with other guests. Nice pool area and fire pit. Animal sightings were great. Hippos on land and water, leopard with her kill up a trill, plenty of elephants, pride...

Twelve of us traveled to Kasane to stay at Muchenje Safari Lodge as the first stop in a two week adventure. The driver was waiting for us when we cleared immigration at the Kasane airport. The lodge wasn't that far a drive from the airport. On the way, we saw a family of elephants on the side of the road....

we spent two days in this lodge which is located in a very nice place overviewing the Chobe reserve and river. We had nice time with early morning and afternoon safaris; and the "must" was the cruise on Chobe river between hippos, herds of éléphants, birds, etc.

We stayed for two nights at the start of a two week safari trip in Botswana, the staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for you, clean lodge with very nice rooms. The pool area was lovely and lots of lovely seating areas over looking the water hole below and the river Chobe. Our guide Synic was fantastic, so...

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly. The food was great as was the service. The various different outings were all enjoyable. Saw so much wildlife that it was hard to believe. The day on the river was amazing for seeing so many elephants and numerous other animals and birdlife galore. The guide we mainly had (Bee) was...
