One of the many highlights of our trip. Camp Kalahari is basic but very nice. The tented rooms are large and comfortable. The camp staff were great and made sure you were very well looked after. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Our guide Jonah was excellent, I think he enjoyed taking on the game drives nearly more than...

This is a well-run camp providing a charming if basic accommodation. Food was the best of all the camps we visited; game drives not particularly fruitful but Bart was a knowledgeable guide who made each activity educational. Don't miss the meercat experience. Contrary to published reports, the camp DOES have electricity.

We visited Camp Kalahari in September, very pleasant and accommodating staff, rooms clean and comfortable, amazing Marketeer experience, was totally worth it, but the Quad bike experience was no ordinary afternoon tour!!, plenty of surprises, this was the highlight of our trip ... would go there again

We had a great 3 night stay at Camp Kalahari, from the cute meerkats and informative Bushmen to Ossy our wonderful guide who was especially patient when it came to the quad bikes a challenge that neither of us (two sisters) relished, however the afternoon/evening turned out to be a very memorable one with excellent company. The staff were all...

This is a comfortable camp with very good food, service and guiding. We were well looked after by our guide and camp manager. Food was good and plentiful and game viewing as good as expected. Highlight for us was quad biking on the salt pans. Our only comoplaint is that we did not get the choice of activities we expected....

Camp Kalahari is my home for the next two nights. I may die. Literally, I think I may die. I'm ok that there's no internet, TV or electricity (solar lights are sufficient). But no AC in 110 degrees?! It's very dry and dusty, too. It took about thirty minutes to get from the airstrip to the camp because the driver...

As a single mother, I was not looking forward to this trip as much as others but I have two tearaway boys who were desperate to see the meerkats, go quad-biking and sleep out on the pans and do all things that involved dust and being boys. Well, I have fallen in love with this part of the world unlike...

This was a much anticipated and long-awaited trip, and undoubtedly our most expensive holiday to date, but it probably exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the Botswanan approach to tourism (high income, low volume) which we believe preserves the "goose that lays the golden eggs" - the richness of its wildlife and the distinctive personal nature of its camps. We loved...

Camp Kalahari was first stop for my 18 year old son and I on recent visit to Africa. From pick up at the airstrip through to departure - everything was perfect. The accommodation was a permanent tent - good sized room with two queen sized double beds. The bathroom attached to the back - beautiful wooden floor. We spent two...
