Kanana was the 3rd of the 3 Ker and Downey camps we have just visited, as with my review on sister camp, Shinde - 6 star. Everything is new, clean, staff very friendly and attentive. Only 4 on a vehicle and vehicle new and clean, plenty space to store camera kit etc. Great game viewing and concession. Thee mekoro ride...

This place is amazing!! Fantastic staff!! Chalets with breathtaking views-feeling like you are one with the "bush veld" and very private. Coffee on the veranda watching the sunrise is spectacular! The pool was quiet, stocked with drinks.....and such a nice surprise!! Didn't know they had one?

What can you say about Ker and Downey's Kanana Camp. It takes a lot to get used to the indulgences of the activities, the food service, the overall customer service in general was stellar. They even had a birthday cake for me and it wasn't my birthday. We tried all the activities with our guide Kigaso and some boating activities...

We have been to many safari camps and Kanana ranks among the very best. The Botswana philosophy - in the Delta at least - is high cost, low volume and you get what you pay for in terms of solitude and privacy. None of the mad rush to beat other vehicles to sightings as experienced sometimes elsewhere. The staff are...

We arrived in a small plane and were met at the airstrip by our guide for the stay, Doctor. He proved to be a superb guide and relentless in his pursuit of all of the wildlife the Delta had to offer. We saw a pride of lions within our first hour in the bush. They had just feasted on a...

We flew in for 3 day stay. Magnificent meet and greet. Luxurious tent, great bed. Ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed not having to get up at 5 am for the morning mission, and not missing out on the animal life, which was all around us at night. Magnificent views in the midday over a small lake. Meals were excellent. Service was...

Thank you for such a wonderful review about Kanana, we are so glad to hear that you had a great time and made such lasting memories in this beautiful country we call Botswana!

Having travelled to various camps and lodges in Botswana, Kanana made it into my top 3 favourite list. Magnificent setting, fantastic spacious rooms, and some of the best meals I have ever had. I did an evening game drive and although we didn't see any cats, the general game was very good. I love their 4 guests per vehicle policy,...

This is the oldest guest camp in the Okavango Delta but in absolutely first class shape. This is "glamping" at it's best. Great tents, big beds, great food, excellent staff that can't do enough for you. It is one of the few that are "family friendly" and was very accommodating to our grandchildren, none younger than ten. One problem that...

We were lucky enough to visit Kanana after the water had arrived in the delta and really it's the access to this incredible area of water that's the USP for this camp. From the first reflections in misty morning light, to the sundowner drinks looking over the lagoon, to the splashing and grunting of hippos at night, it's all about...

We stayed at the camp for just over 3 nights and loved every second. Our guide Steve was superb and the perfect game driver. We saw a leopard kill its prey as well as numerous elephants, giraffes and zebra. The food is delicious and the bar is always open. You feel at home instantaneously. Safari doesn't get better than this.
