Spent 2 nights in November. It was very hot, but fortunately a thunderstorm in the morning cooled things down. The concession is interesting and varied, and we saw good wildlife, including Wild Dog, Leopard and Lion all in one afternoon. Highlight was a Pel's Fishing Owl perched on the log bridge next to camp.

We spent three nights here, second camp on our trip. Lovely location, overlooking a lagoon of water with plenty of wildlife to look at - hippos, elephants, antelope and birds. Great central area with sweeping high roof, and plenty of space to spread out and relax. Chalets are well-fitted out, but not luxurious, and with en-suite facilities. We thought the...

We stayed 3 nights at Pom Pom, this was the final lodge in a two week safari trip across 3 other lodges and a houseboat - all reviewed. Pom Pom is a stunning lodge with the largest pool of all the lodges we stayed at. The rooms are large tented lodges well spaced from each other, we were fortunate enough...

Every morning there were fresh tracks of elephant and hippo around the tent! Game viewing was excellent but the heat during this time, just before the rains was unbearable during the day. Food was excellent...

the camp is small and intimate with tents. we went out in the morning and evening looking for the animals elephants came down to the water as we ate. Food was very good and many local dishes. Other areas of Africa animals can be seen but here we were in the wilds in the natural habitat the tents were very...
