We stayed in Beaver cottage. We loved that it was near the walking path around the lake. Our porch had a nice view of the lake as well. Slightly obstructed but that was ok because the wooded area is beautiful. We had an extra bonus. There was a muscle car show on Wednesday night, we weren't expecting. A little bit noisy, but fun. Food at 1915 restaurant was good. The view from the upstairs restaurant was awesome.

We were fortunate to find such a beautiful place on short notice! I wish we could have stayed longer!! We want to come back in the future and stay at the Inn itself. We enjoyed the cabin this trip and the scenery and peacefulness !!!

Stayed there for my West Point reunion, May 2023. Very relaxing. The restaurant was excellent and the food was great. Travel to West Point was simple and quick. The Bear Mountain staff were very pleasant and efficient.

A hotel with lots of history and a beautiful state park attached. Furniture is rustic and the bed was to soft for my liking. Nice large room with two queen beds so if you divide the price by the number of people we had it comes out to $105/person. Good value for the money

We highly recommend staying at the Bear Mountain Lodge. We stayed at Overlook. Exceptionally clean!!! Beautiful rooms. Very Quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Can't say enough about our experience. We do wish the dining room was open early in the week, but there were plenty choices of places to eat. Exceptional food in Stony Point and Cold Spring!!

I attend an event held at the park twice a year and the location is unbeatable. Rooms are always spotless and comfortable. I’ve stayed at the Stone Cottages, which are perfectly fine; just know that one thermostat controls the temperature for ALL guest rooms. I decided to try Overlook Lodge. For not much more money, it’s worth it. Rooms are larger. The common area is absolutely delightful, and the balcony right off of it offers stunning views of the Hudson River. My one and only choice oh hotel fir the Hudson River Valley!

If we returned we would stay in the main building. Overlook Lodge was ok but a pain to get to on the roundabout - and construction nearby created issues. Overall a nice getaway if you are looking for quiet and relaxation.

We stayed overnight for our anniversary. We come to Bear Mountain every year to have drinks since this was our first date. We also got engaged in front of the lake. This is the first year we chose to stay. I enjoyed this day but I could definitely use some upgrades and I was pretty disappointed with the restaurant.

Bear Mountain Inn was a perfect location for our Appalachian Trail hike through central New York. The prices were reasonable, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Inn also offered breakfast, to-go sandwiches, and fine dining in the evening on weekends. It was perfect for our needs. - thanks!
