This was our 28th year staying at Hemlock Hall on Columbus Day weekend. As usual we had a great time. The owners, Paul and Sue Provost, and their staff always make you feel welcome. All the rooms are decorated in the Adirondack theme and they are immaculate. The rate includes your breakfast and dinner, which are always great. It is...

I was picking my daughter up from summer camp and looking for a place to stay nearby. A local (fully booked) innkeeper advised me to try this place, "on the off chance there's a cancellation." Fortunately for us, there was. Honestly I wasn't expecting much and didn't particularly care, since I intended to spend the weekend attending Parents Weekend at...

We had beautiful weather in autumn and the Hemlock Hall is a beautiful place to stay some nights at the Blue Mountain Lake. So we booked a lovely cottage for two nights. But unfortunately in the evening we were informed that they made a mistake and the room is given to another party for the next night so we should...

We discovered this lodge by accident while visiting the Syracuse University site next door many, many years ago. We have gone back time and time again and have yet to be disappointed. It is a true Adirondack lodge, not a luxurious hotel. It has character and heart. It is friendly and warm and beautiful and relaxing. The food is served...

We stayed in this lodge only for one night. It is perfectly located in the midst of the forest and adjacent to the Blue Mountain lake. The lodge has also a number of cottages, some of which are facing the lake actually. We have been received in a most friendly way and introduced to the habits of the place. Unlike...

The building and site is beautiful. Meals for Standard American Diet are over abundant and I was told they recently added the salads and green vegetables. The vegan meals were fair, one okay, one poorly made and no effort was made to make us a dessert. Our room in the Inn was tiny with two double beds under eaves. Lots...

I called HH about 3 weeks ago to see if there was any avaiability - there was none. I received a surprise phone call a week laterthat there had been a cancellation and that they had a cabin for the following week. Little did I realize how very lucky we were. The lodge, property and cabin (we stayed in the...

I have been going to Hemlock Hall since 1977, and it is a slice of heaven. It is a wonderful place that I look forward to going to every year. We make sure to arrive early so we can get the amazing breakfast that they prepare every day. The food is incredible -- don't miss Saturday night's turkey dinner --...
