My fiance and I just came home from such a lovely long weekend at Prospect Point. It was a gorgeous spot with great walks and lake views. But what really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone could not have been more caring and kind and empathetic, the went out of our way to make sure we were treated... More

We were vacationing from Colorado and stayed at Prospect Pt. Cottages the first week in Oct. and hit the fall color at its peak! It was absolutely the best place we stayed in the Adirondacks!!!! Because of a problem in Maple cottage, which we had reserved, we were upgraded for FREE and stayed in Moose Lodge!( Maple Cottage is currently... More

Just checked out of this gem overlooking Blue Mountain Lake. Our stay in Bear Lodge was entirely peaceful, the accommodations were immaculately clean and cozy. We had a crackling fire in the stone fireplace each evening after brisk and busy days hiking and exploring the immediate area. The buffet breakfasts served each morning at 9am are bountiful, more like a... More

What a lovely location. We stayed in Moose Lodge. This was a very nice unit with two bedrooms, kitchen, bath, dining area and living room with a gorgeous stone fireplace. The lake was directly across from our unit and since it was fall, the view was amazing. I am sure if we had come in the summer we would have... More

We just returned from an absolutely wonderful four days in the Poplar cabin. It was like time stood still, not a clock to be found, so sleeping in was WONDERFUL. The laping waters of the lake was so soothing. We are from Colorado and to see the beautiful fall colors just about at their peak was a real treat, I... More

We spent 3 days in the Prospect Point Balsam Cottage - it doesn't get any better when looking for reasonable lake side accommodations in the Adirondacks. The staff was delightful, the flower and herb gardens - beautiful and the newly added chickens(providing fresh eggs) - fun! The cottages are nicely appointed and they do not skimp on the quality of... More

We just returned from a four day at the Prospect Point Cottages & can't stop talking about what a terrific time we had. The staff was personable & friendly; our cottage, Maple, fit our needs & budget perfectly; the brunch was delicious (peach crepes & a goat cheese/tomato/basil omelette? HEAVEN!); the beach area was clean & had plenty of lifejackets,... More

We stayed in "Oak" for a couple of nights-- so nice to be right on the lake, listening to loons... The renovated cottage was so nice-- had all you needed-- and amazingly clean with great towels, sheets... The grounds themselves are beautiful-- everywhere you look there are incredible flowers and herb gardens that Carol said that the guests could utilize... More

Clean, well equipped, well maintained and refurbished waterfront cottages on Blue Mountain Lake in the Adirondacks. A bit close together, but well located to attractions in the Adirondacks. Good breakfast included with the rental during October through June. Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Canoes included. We have stayed there several times.
