Carey's is a great place to bring your boat too. The dock is convenient and close to the rooms. Love the fireplace in the rooms. Open till Columbus Day weekend so it's a great place to catch some fall boating and fishing. Bill the owner is great. It's close to town and all the good restaurants. We're repeat customers.

Nice clean cabins ( some with fireplaces and kitchenettes), old school living, lakeside access. It's like going back in time...which means limited wifi, coffee in rec room, directly talking with owner.. Bring your own towels and coffee if particular about that stuff. Free wood for fireplace and use of boats. Nice small dock. Swingsets and outdoor grills.

My wife and I stayed in Unit 12, an efficiency cottage unit, September 16th through the 19th. The rooms and grounds are kept immaculate, the location is ideal, and the owner and employees could not have been more friendly or helpful. We enjoyed using the rowboats and canoes. The beach, though small, is sandy and clean. The only negative issue...

If you're looking for a cool old school lake side cottage, this is the place. Feels like a camp with boating, ping/pong and fresh doughnuts every morning, Beautiful setting with its own private inlet. Close by tennis, water sports and golf. If you have a little extra cash, rent a boat from Chic's marina just down the lake.

I found this nice place in the early 90's and enjoyed staying in both the cabins and motel rooms almost every year. I prefer off season when it's not as crowded. I try not to call for reservations until the last minute because if I call too far ahead Carey's wants a check mailed in for the deposit. I would...

This was my third trip to Bolton Landing and favorite accommodations so far. The room was very clean, mattress super comfortable and Bill and his staff were very great. We could view the lake from our room patio, but going down to the dock and sitting in an Adirondack chair was even better! The property has a small beach, canoes,...

If you book this place make sure you take all of u our camping equipment. It's an old room with a tiny bathroom. I asked the owner for coffee and he held up his coffee that he advised me they make down the street at the deli. The rec hall had a ping pong table and 5 video game machines....

As we have for the past 25+ years we visited Carey's. Bill and his Mom continue to great you by name and make you feel like you have come home. We have stayed at the Sagamore many times, as well as other places in the Lake George region. I've seen some of the reviews commenting on "Thin towels, no free...
