I have stayed in hotels all over the world and in many developing countries, but nothing anywhere was as bad as this. I was promised Wi-Fi but it never worked and they said they couldn't get it serviced on weekends. The room smelled like a turkish prison. The heat never came on and there was no one to fix it,... This hotel tried to cheat us out of over $100 by charging us over the rate quoted and then being unresponsive to our requests for reimbursement. When I took it up with American Express, they wrote a letter justifying the overcharge. I then complained to Quality Inn Corporate, and they spent months researching it, saying the hotel needed to weigh... More

My daughter and I were headed to the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. It was late at night so we decided to stay at a hotel, rather than try to set up a tent in the dark....A tent in a sewer would have been far more desireable. Room stank of old cooking, there was a hole in the bathroom door (which... More

My mother and I were traveling to southern NY one weekend and got stuck in the middle of a snow storm. This was the first hotel we could find, so we stopped there. We had stayed at the quality inn in Grand Rapids, MI and were very pleased with the service and amenities at the MI location. One of the... More

For those considering using this for group space, use the other hotels in Saugerties or Kingston, even if they are more money. If you don't you will be in for huge headaches. I was supposed to stay here, actually so were all of my wedding guests, however, we won't be. Less than three months before my wedding i called to... More

Don't stay if you plan to eat at the restaurant. This is a hit or miss operation, usually run by one or two people who were hired within the last few days. Had no OJ one day, had no strofoam or paper cups to take out coffee, and NO bills for change, and NO CUSTOMERS. Glass outer windows were added... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel every Memorial Day weekend for years. The last few years since the new owners took over the "Quality" of this Quality Inn no longer exists. The staff is rude. The manager cannot be found when there is a problem....and there is ALWAYS a problem. I booked my room over the phone and... More

Made reservation over the phone for Memorial Day weekend and was quoted a high (as usual) but acceptable rate for the holiday weekend. At check-out, a substantially higher rate was charged. Got the usual 'you'll have to take it up with the manager, who's not here' line. 12 attempts to contact the manager all failed. A letter to Choice Hotels... More

The hotel is right off Rt. 87 and the room was Ok and there is a big pool out back. But the hotel is kind of creepy looking, the soda machine is outside and at night it seems dangerous and the front desk people were not too friendly. We were happy to check out of there. And they didn't seem... More
