Detailed Reviews
When you stay at a budget hotel you cannot expect the Taj Mahal but you can expect a clean and tidy room regardless of whether it’s an old or new property. We stayed here for one night on the way to Cape Cod and this budget hotel delivered! Clean and tidy room with a friendly owner when you check in! Will definitely stay here again!

It was an okay. Stayed here when attending a wedding nearby as it was much cheaper than other alternatives. The concierge was very nice and accommodating. However, I felt it was overpriced for what it was ($160). The rooms are clean to the best of their ability, but are extremely outdated that the carpet/smell/overall room felt unclean.
They do have a cute area off to the side to have a picnic/chill outside.
One more thing to be aware of (which is not fault of this place) is that taxi service is extremely unreliable and there are no ubers/lyfts in this area. If you are planning to attend a wedding/event, be prepared to drive yourself.
pros
cheapest alternative in the area
cons
unreliable taxis & no ubers in the area

This is your basic, very basic, motel. Totally outdated. Clean enough but that's not saying much. Heat unit was terrible. Furnishings very very outdated, scuffed and just old. Lock on door was minimal at best and security lock was broken off.

Perfect for our needs. This hotel was midway on our journey and I can definitely recommend staying here. It is a basic little motor lodge that reminded me of the roadside places we would’ve stayed with our parents growing up in the 70’s.
The landscaping was beautiful, the employees were kind and helpful, leaving the room ready for us due to a very late arrival. The location is quiet, safe parking and best off is it is dog friendly with plenty of green space for them to use. I will stay here again next year.
In summary, vintage basic style motor lodge, clean, quiet, lovely green space, nice enployees and dog friendly for a very good price. Recommended.

Two story older motel right off the Taconic in East Chatham area. Basic rooms, good wifi connection. Rooms small, but everything was CLEAN. Very pleased for the price. Owners/operators pleasant and gas station right across the road.

Stayed in a room on the second floor with my husband and two children for a quick overnight when visiting nearby family. Overall the room was fine - it was just to sleep in. It is nothing fancy, in fact it’s decor is outdated. But it was comfortable enough and clean, but seemed pricey for what it was. Due to locale, I might stay again if the need presented.

This is a nice cheap place. Rooms simple and clean. The new carpets and drapes give a crisp feel but that is the extent of updating this old property. It has no amenities except very good wifi for free. It is great to have a clean bed and shower for this price.

We booked this hotel to be nearer to family but wish we had followed through on our reservation at a Fairfield Inn (at a lower price) 20 minutes north. Room was tiny, if clean; the whole place very 1950s. The queen bed filled most of the bedroom area, lacked a bedpad and sagged in the middle. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot as well as a very small flat screen TV, but if it had not been Labor Day weekend, we would not expect to pay more than $65 or so for this kind of property (we paid $109 and it was non-cancellable at the time of reservation). Near a train line so we heard the blast of the locomotive three times in the evening/early morning. we booked this room based on a earlier, more positive review of this hotel but do not recommend it unless you can get it for a bargain price or have absolutely no other alternatives.
