We recently stayed in a suite room on the main floor with a jacuzzi tub in the room and a fireplace. I can't say enough about the comfort and charm of the room. We felt like we were in an apartment and it was decorated exactly as we would with books lining the shelves and

Dear margie1962, Thank you for your fine review! Your room (the Country Garden Suite) is in our 1975 edition (the original building that includes the library dates back to 1853) replacing a log cabin built by Asa Ransom 1799. Nine of our ten rooms feature a fireplace with five also providing a porch or balcony. I will tell the chef (me) that you very much enjoyed your breakfast. Thank you again and have a healthy and happy 2019. Innkeeper Bob

Charming Inn in a small town setting. We stayed in a ground floor room with a 2 person Jacuzzi in the room. Dinner in the dining room was wonderful and the breakfasts were super, including warm flaky danish at the end. With one exception, everything was wonderful. The

Dear George D, Thank you for your good review. We appreciate guests comments so we can improve the guests experience. The lamp fixture has been reworked and now has a pull chain so one does not have to get out of bed to turn it off. All our plugs have one side always hot (perfect with the bed lamp) with the other on the main room switch. We also added an impressive antique lamp on a small night table on the opposite side of the bed. Again thank you, and hope you will visit us in the future Innkeeper Bob Note to TripAdvisor - Please change our "Your name will display as" to Innkeeper Bob if that is possible Thank You Bob

Stayed for one night for a business brainstorm session. Had a lovely room with fireplace and balcony. They came with a plate of fruit and cheese just after I arrived. 5 course excellent dinner (extra $ but a good value) and a 3 course breakfast (included). My one recommendation

Caryn K, Thank you for providing your comments on your stay at the Asa Ransom House! Glad you enjoyed one of the five rooms with a balcony or porch, being on the south side of the Inn, its very quite with a great view. We acted on your suggestion to provide real cream for the early morning coffee immediately. We always appreciate our guests giving us suggestions on how to make their stay even more enjoyable. Thank You! Innkeeper Bob

This quaint, picturesque, historic inn is situated in a suburb of Buffalo named Clarence, in a spot also known as the Hollow. Other than slow WIFI at times, we had a great weekend staying at the B&B, which also has a 40-seat restaurant and was hosting wedding. Our room was very

Bill R, Thank you for your fine review. Because of the thick brick walls in the historical 1853 part of the building, reception was week in a few areas. We have added extenders for better WIFI reception and they are working fine to help make every guests stay more enjoyable. We appreciate your helpful comments and thank you again for selecting Asa Ransom House for your visit! Innkeeper Bob

Because guests select their choice of room when booking, we rarely have one room open for more than a week at a time. A dog weight of about 60 pounds of less is preferred. Thank you for your interest in the Asa Ransom House1 Have a great day! Innkeeper Bob
